[6.0] "Doesnt need a rewatch but theres nothing bad on this shows its just a bit of fun and the womens tag match is actually really good and makes me wish it was down on a PPV that more people watched as its right really enjoyable workers and may be as good as the womens tag division has got. The opening match is a generic slow heels vs fast babyface matches with Montez being beaten down for a fight while before they fight back and we get his awesome frog splash to give them the win and Owens Vs Lashley is fine"

The womens tag match is really enjoyable and worth watching again and the other 2 matches shown are strong enough for this show to be a 6/10. I dont know why people expected there to be an actual epic last man standing match between Lashley and Rusev on a network show"

Okay, this show doesn't have the reputation of a great Starrcade show but that was not the goal and even if it's just a glorified house show, the show itself is not bad at all. KO Show with Ric was fun. Street Profits vs. The OC was not exciting but had nothing bad about it and put the Profits in the spotlight perfectly The Women's Four-Way was fantastic and was the showtealer. The main event wasn't great but I loved Owens' promo. Overall - people need to calm down, it was not show of the year worthy, but there's nothing THAT bad."
[2.0] "Also bei einem WWE Live Event auf dem Network nur 3 Matches zu zeigen und der Rest sind alles Dark Matches finde Ich schon Extrem Schade, vorallem wenn man hier so Matches hat Wie Andrade vs. Aleister Black oder Randy Orton vs. AJ Styles. Bestes Match hier bei dem "Geschichtsträchtigen" Event war aufjedenfall das Tag Team Match Zwischen Den Street Profits und dem OC. Rest war Müll obwohl das 4 Way Tag Team Match der Frauen auch noch inordnung war. Fazit: Ein Schwacher WWE Live Event."
[3.0] "We pay tribute to the historic event. Und was man dann zu sehen bekommt ist billiger Ramsch von der Resterampe, anmoderiert durch Saxon und Phillips, was schon an sich einiges aussagt. Es beginnt noch recht harmlos mit einer Kevin Owens Show, bei welcher sich Ric Flair von seiner Schokoladenseite zeigt, bis der OC & die Street Profits das erste Match eröffnen. Aber auch bis dahin dauert es über eine geschlagene Viertelstunde voller billiger Pops. Auch das Match an sich kommt da nicht aus den Pantoffeln, zu viele Restholds, zu wenig Workrate oder Inspiration. Das ist House-Show Niveau, mehr nicht. Hauchzart anspruchsvoller geht es bei den Damen zu, wo sich die Japanerinnen behaupten können. Bobby Lashley und Lana geraten abschliessend mit Kevin Owen aneinander. Rusev versaut dann das obligatorische Match, wobei das auch nichts zur Story beiträgt. Viel Getöse um (fast) nix. Starrcade im Network ist, wie im Jahr zuvor auch, nur eine glorifizierte House-Show."
[5.0] "Das Traurigste hier war für mich die Gewissheit, dass an Ric Flair nun mittlerweile doch sichtbar der Zahn der Zeit nagt. Die Gedanken sind nicht unbedingt sortiert, die Aussprache nuschelig wie nie. Möge es schlechte Tagesform gewesen sein, aber da möchte man vom Nature Boy doch ein anderes Bild im Kopf haben. Als Auftakt für so eine House Show, die als Bonbon auch im Network präsentiert wird, ist das schon okay. Mit Owens, OC und den Street Profits hat das von der Konstellation schon eher TV- als House Show-Geschmack. Die Action ist durchaus solide, aber hat natürlich diesen extrem Live Show-Geschmack. Das gilt dann auch für die Damen, die hohes Tempo, Risiko & Co vermeiden, dafür solide arbeiten. Ein interessantes Match wird es dadurch nicht unbedingt. Die Schlussphase sitzt aber. Das Ende gehört Lana und Lashley und Owens Antwort ist wieder irre unterhaltsam. Das Match ist okay, das Aftermatch gut. Natürlich muss man den Event nicht Starrcade nennen, aber man muss deswegen nicht direkt auf BILD-Niveau verfallen. Segmente und Matches sind allesamt mindestens ausreichend. Was ich nicht gesehen habe, kann ich nicht bewerten."
[2.0] "Obviously only rating the roughly 1/3 of the show to be broadcast. In terms of positives, the Street Profits vs. Gallows/Anderson was a solid tag bout, and the main event of Owens vs. Lashley was decent enough while it lasted, until Owens effectively disappeared so the lame Lashley-Rusev story could continue. Ultimately - like most of these Network specials - this was just a portion of a house show, and it's sad to see the Starrcade name relegated to something like this."
[2.0] "A lot of the matches that looked promising were never aired. The OC vs street profits match was ok. Same for the women's tag team titles match. The match most people were waiting for - Lashley vs Rusev never happened. Rusev beating up Lashley didn't compensate at all. Overall, judging from what was televised, this was a bad show."
[2.0] "Sehr schlechter WWE Live Event. Das Anfangssegment war schlecht. Flair brauche ich weder sehen noch hören. Verstehen tut man ihn eh kaum und das was er erzählt war uninteressant. Der Opener war schlecht. Lahmes Match was auch eine mäßige Länge nur bekam. Die Women waren in Ordnung. Sehr ungewohnt Alexa wieder komplett als Face zu sehen. Das Match war höchstens nett. Der Main-Event war schlecht. Es gab kein Last Man Standing Match zwischen Lashley und Rusev. Dafür gab es dann ein Singles Match mit Owens und das DQ kam als Rusev eingriff und Lashley vermöbelt. Wie auch schon letztes Jahr kann man diese Show getrost überspringen."
[3.0] "Not sure what the point of this was. The dark matches look exceptional, but only the few in attendance would know. I didn't even know this was on and watched by chance. The three matches were reasonable. Profits vs OC was very messy. Gallows and Anderson are far too robotic a pairing to put on a good match with a green team. Dawkins is rubbish. The women's title match was very enjoyable. The Kabuki Warriors are an amazing team. The novelty of having Alexa back probably made the match seem better than it really was, but there was lots of action and some good flowing exchanges. Everyone got to have a good moment. Lashley and KO was fine and the beat down from Rusev got the crowd going. Only 3 matches and more of the brain dead Ric Flair prevent even an adequate rating. It would be nice if anybody in attendance could give a lowdown on the dark matches."
[4.0] "Allen war klar, dass das hier nur eine teilweise im TV übertragene House Show ist und trotzdem wird da drüber wieder geheult. Anfangssegment war da um da zu sein. Das erste gezeigte Match war schwach (*½). Das Women's Fatal 4 Way war etwas enttäuschend (**¼). Lashley/Rusev Story wird gut weitergeführt. Owens kommt raus, fordert Lashley heraus. Lashley/Owens war dann auch schwach (*¾). Die Show endet mit einem feurigen Segment. Ausreichend."

Die Wege des Vince McMahon sind wahrlich unergründlich. Muss man nicht gesehen haben."

This is rightfully labelled a disaster. You'll catch me watching NJPW World tag league or weekly nxt and aew. How many more chances can we give wwe that they are constantly a disappointment and proven unending times they do not even consider what is best for the fans.
