| 1 | 04.10.2021 | SZ1989 | 8.0 | Very good show overall. The first few matches, Tanaka vs Sakata (**1/4) and Oele vs Peeters (**1/2), weren't really spectacular. The show picks up after those two matches though, with Nagai vs Naruse (****) being one of the best matches of the card. Tariel vs Ameran (***) was a good brother vs brother match but didn't feature much beyond some worked Karate striking. Nijman vs Han (***3/4) exceeded expectations by a good margin. The main event, Maeda vs Yamamoto (****1/2), is a classic rookie vs ace match and showed how good RINGS could be at storytelling. Definitely worth checking out this show. |
