Wardlow ist immer noch ein Highlight, mit Collin Cassidy rechnen wir dann nächste Woche ab. Jeriocho und Eddie haben ein grandioses Promoduell, das Highlight dieser Woche. Wenn man nur eine Sache von diesem Dynamite sehen will, dann das! Street Fight der Frauen holt mich gar nicht ab, ich habe letzte Woche von deren Fehde erfahren, außerdem ist Deeb einfach uninteressant. Adam Cole und seine Kasper langweilen mich, wird endlich Zeit für den Faceturn der Young Bucks. Cole kann danach auch weg, genauso wie HoB und Death Triangle. Letztere Gruppierung ist immer noch genauso schlecht und unpassend wie an Tag 1. Split, sofort! Main Event war ein spektakuläres Leitermatch, aber Sammys Heelturn ist Quatsch. Der war als Face so over und wer möchte bitte Scorpio Sky anfeuern? |

| 11 | 04.05.2023 | Telecine | 7.0 | Der Opener zwischen den beiden Mitgliedern von FTR ist ein gutes und schnörkelloses Singles Match zweier Tag Partner. Das anschließende Match des Blackpool Combat Club war dann ein angenehmes Multi Men Tag, das sich nicht zu hastig anfühlte, was man von dem späteren Ten Man Tag der Undisputed Elite nicht behaupten kann, während dem ich innerlich abschaltete. Der Wardlow Push hat für mich ein bisschen gebraucht, um sich wirklich bedeutsam und groß anzufühlen, aber jetzt mit diesem Match gegen Lance Archer springe ich auch auf den Fanzug auf. Der Goldberg Push, den Wardlow erhält, wird durch seine guten Leistungen im Ring zu etwas Besonderem und ich könnte diese Reihe von MJFs persönlich ausgewählten Gegnern für Wardlow noch eine Weile anschauen. Das Match zwischen Shida und Deeb war gut, aber für mich ohne wirkliche Tragweite, da wir es doch schon ein paar mal gesehen haben und es sich nicht mehr so emotional anfühlt. Und das Ladder Match war dann ein wahnsinniges Spotfest, bei dem man den Kopf schon zu einem gewissen Teil einfach ausschalten muss, um es zu genießen. Man kann aber nicht bestreiten, dass es eine gewisse magnetische Wirkung hatte und man nicht gelangweilt war. Abseits der Matches stach für mich vor allem die Promo zwischen Jericho und Kingston hervor. Ich hatte aber ein bisschen das Gefühl, dass der ultrarealistische Ansatz von Eddie Kingston und der eher cartoonhafte von Jericho hier nicht so recht zusammenpassen wollten. Siebeneinhalb Punkte wären es, wäre dies möglich. |

| 17 | 24.11.2022 | Dkex | 8.0 | Dynamite beginnt mit einem richtig starken Opener, tolle Chemie, klasse Wrestling. So startet man eine Show. CM Punk Promo im Anschluss war natürlich gut wie immer, aber nichts besonderes. Die Backstage Promo von Scorpio Sky im Anschluss war dann auch in Ordnung und schon geht es zum Trios Tag Team Match. Das war solide aber ein wenig zu lang. The Factory muss schneller ausgeschaltet werden. Dann gab es ein nettes Backstage Segment mit Hayter/Baker und Storm/Soho, hyped das Tunier und erfüllt somit seinen Zweck. Das kurze Interview mit dem Jungle Express und Cage war dann interessanter und es zeigen sich ein paar kleine Risse. Starks und Hobbs als nächste Gegner gehen absolut klar. Wardlow vs. Archer war dann überraschend kurz, aber dafür ein absolut spaßiger Big Man Fight. Im Ring gab es dann ein klasse Redesegment zwischen Kingston/Santana/Ortiz und der JAS, Kingston ist immer wieder unfassbar gut am Mic, Jericho sowieso. Die Promo von Guevara um den Main Event zu hypen kann die Fehde wirklich gebrauchen, hilft aber leider auch nichts mehr, selbst wenns gut gewesen wäre. Das fünfte und vorerst letzte Match zwischen Shida und Deeb fand ich wieder stark, auch wenn es nicht das beste Match der Serie war, mag auch an der zu langen Fehde gelegen haben. Deeb für mich die klar richtige Siegerin. Backstage zeigt MJF wieder mal was für ein unfassbar guter Heel er ist. Das House of Black Segment war zu Beginn unfassbar Cringe, das war sogar mir zuviel. So sehr ich Abrahantes mag, hier wars echt nicht gut am Mic. Backstage hypen Swerve und Allin ihr Match bei Rampage, geht soweit in Ordnung. Das Ten Man Tag Team Match war zwar nicht fürchterlich, das hätte ich aber einfach null gebraucht. Backstage wirft Jericho mit einem Feuerball um sich, das ist so dumm, dass es schon wieder fantastisch ist. Nach einem passablen Hype Video für Samoa Joe und Trent bei Rampage geht es zum Main Event. Dieser hat sich zu Beginn doch sehr gezogen, aber dem Moment, an dem Sky dem anfliegenden Guevara auf der Leiter einen Cutter verpasst hat, wurde es ziemlich stark. Van Zandt da mit reinzubringen geht in Ordnung. Insgesamt ein gutes Match. Dank des Openers und des Damen Street Fights war das insgesamt doch eine richtig gute Show mit jeweils einem Lowlight innerhalb und außerhalb des Rings. Ganz knapp 8 Punkte |

Whatever. Now on to the show, it was great as in my problems with it were minmal and/or didn't affect my enjoyment of the show. The FTR match was a wrestling clinic that I wished was longer. BCC continue to be the best thing in AEW and Wardlow v Archer was two big dudes duking it out with high flying spots added. The JAS/LAX segment went a bit long but the intesity was palpable. Shida v Deeb 5 was good and gives a clear path for DON, The 10 man tag was... there but it advanced the U storyline (it was the weakest part of the show though). The in-between segments were okay, Britt should absolutely stop burying her opponents. The TNT title ladder match in a vacuum was a good match (waaay too overbooked in some parts) but I can't help but feel that all the decisions to get here were bad TV segments that basically forced TK hand. The hot potating of the title should stop here and hopefully Scorpio Sky has a reign with some sense of longevity and good rivalries/matches along the way. |

Ganz starkes Wrestling hier ohne viele Schnörkel sondern viel auf dem Boden, Suplessen, Ringen. Einfach ein richtig starkes Match der beiden. Die Viertelstunde verging einfach wie im Flug. Ganz stark und natürlich auch das MOTN. Danach ging es mit ordentlicher Trios Action weiter. Der Combat Club gegen die Factory. Das war grundsolide ohne ein Trios Match ohne große Schnörkel indem sich am Ende die Favoriten auch verdient durchsetzen. Wardlow gegen Archer war das was man davon erwarten konnte. Gute Prüfung für Wardlow mit dem großen Mann und das war gar nicht so schlecht. Deeb gegen Shida geht in die entscheidende Runde und tatsächlich setzt sich Deeb hier durch. Das war ein ordentlicher Street Fight. Deeb nun die Top Heel Dame von AEW. Freue mich schon auf das Match gegen Rosa. Das Ten Man Tag Team Match hätte ich jetzt nicht unbedingt gebraucht. Die Story hätte man auch ohne Match so weiter erzählen können. Dafür war aber der Main Event dann wieder ganz ordentlich. Leicht überraschend gewinnt Sky hier den Titel zurück. Mir hat es gut gefallen, auch mit den ganzen Eingriffen. Das war ein runder Abschluß der Show. Sky triumphiert, alles gut :) |

Auch die zwischen Sequenzen, dass sie sich nicht schlagen wollen, doch nach einem Eye Poke von Dax, Cash den ersten Schlag verteilt, ab da an wurde es dann richtig interessant. Die End Sequenz auch extrem stark gewesen mit dem Sharpshooter, den Dax nicht durchziehen wollte und Dadurch von Cash Eingerollt Wird, dass kann Dax jedoch wieder auskontern und holt such somit dem Small Package den Sieg (****). CM Punk hielt dann nach dem Match nochmal eine Kleine Promo Richtung Adam Page und Double Or Nothing. Wird ein Starkes Match zwischen ihm und Adam Page. Der Blackpool Combat Club misst sich dann mit der Factory, was der BCC natürlich für sich entscheiden kann. War ein Gutes Kleines Match. Das Wheeler Yuta dann den Sieg in seiner Heimat Stadt holen kann war natürlich auch vorhersehbar. Wardlow vs. Lance Archer war stark. Das erste mal seit Jahren, dass Wardlow etwas mehr zeigen konnte als nur Powerbombs in seinen Matches. Fand ich sehr stark und generell die Fehde mit MJF sehr unterhaltend. Das Face-Off zwischen der JAS und Team Kingston war stark und gefällt mir auch sehr sehr gut. Serena Deeb vs. Hikaru Shida im Philadelphia Street Fight (Natürlich gibt es in Philadelphia ein "Street Fight") war auch sehr stark, aber das sich Serena Deeb hier den Sieg holt, damit hätte ich ehrlicherweise nicht gerechnet. Ten Man Tag Team Match war Solide, aber auch hier war es eher ein Aufbau Match der Undisputed Elite und baut sie weiterhin gut auf, was denke ich der Aufbau zum Forbidden Door PPV sein wird. Main Event Ladder Match um den AEW TNT Championship war ein Solides Ladder Match zwischen Scorpio Sky und Sammy Guevera. Das der Titel aber so oft wechselt finde ich etwas zu viel, aber hoffe das die Fehde zwischen Sky und Guevera jetzt auch vorüber ist, obwohl ich mir auch ein Mixed Tag Team Match noch vorstellen könnte (***1/4). Insgesamt eine Solide AEW Dynamite Episode die aber auch etwas besser hätte sein können. Die Fehden Interessieren mich teils wirklich sehr, aber manche auch einfach absolut garnicht. Bin gespannt wie es weitergehen wird auf der "Road To Double Or Nothing". |

Toller Sprint zweier Heavyweights. Das Segment mit der JAS und Eddie Kingston war auch ganz gut, Kingston am MIC ist halt immer großartig. Serena Deeb vs. Hikaru Shida ist wieder ein gutes Match mit einem, für mich etwas überraschenden Sieger. Das 10 Man war solide und der Main Event auch sehr ordentlich, wobei man kurz improvisieren musste als Sammy den Flip übelst botcht. Sehr schön war aber der Pop für Scorpio Sky, well deserved. |

Das Six Man Tag Match und da muss ich sagen, dass ich es echt anständig fand und das der Blackpool Combat Club da was Positives aus dem Blackpool Combat Club rausgeholt hat. Wardlow gegen Archer war ein anständiger Sprint der beiden Monster. Deeb gegen Shida ist ein mehr als anständiges Match wie ich finde und auch das zweitbeste der Show wie ich finde, was vor Allem an der Intensität lag. Das Co ME war solide, das ME brauchte dann etwas Zeit um auf Temperatur zu kommen, hat mich dann mitgenommen, die Eingriffe sind dann wieder meh aber der Moment mit dem Sieg von Sky war cool. Abseits vom Wrestlerischen gab es noch einiges und vor Allem möchte ich da das Rey Fenix Comeback erwähnen sowie die Story rundum Jericho's Stable, wobei mir vor Allem Kingston wieder gefiel. Insgesamt war das in meinen Augen eine mehr als anständige Ausgabe, welche 7 Punkte verdient. |

The final moves were maybe slightly oddly booked but the transitions and roll-ups all looked excellent (and very apropos for a Hart tribute match), and Cash's german suplexes look brilliant in their (relative) realism. Punk's promo was good but not one of his best. The six man tag had some individually good moments but went on for too long considering the disparity in the quality of the teams. The backstage segment for the women's division was decent; the one concerning the tag team championships was not. Wardlow-Archer was a lovely little match that let both men emphasise their shocking speed and athleticism. The JAS segment was mostly good - a little daft and basic in some places, but there's so much charisma involved that it managed to be an overall positive. Deeb-Shida was excellent, I only wish it had been longer. A better version of this episode would have trimmed around ten minutes of fat and given it to the street fight, to let things really escalate. The Fenix return was fun, if predictable. The ten man tag was a whole lot of nothing. A couple of good spots but the crowded ring and short timespan meant nothing meaningful was accomplished. The main event was rocky with some excellent individual moments - Scorpio biting Sammy's middle finger was a fantastic spot, and I enjoyed the big drop onto barbed wire Sammy took. This definitely felt like a heated grudge match but the near-constant and ill-performed interference was a major drag, as was the slow pace that most of this match occurred at. |

The start was pretty flat, repepating over and over that lucha sequence, and then starting to hitting hard with millions of years of difference from hit to hit. The second half got better, with the reversarls, even there were some botches. The end was also fine, protecting the stability for both wrestlers. Just a satisfactory fight. [***1/4]; Six Man Tag Team Match: Just more than an adequate match, whose most importabt highlight was evidently Wheeler Yuta. He is improving the right way, but is still lacking of some technique. Maybe the opponents weren't the right option, but the Blackpool club did a good work. Interesting match showing the capability of this team. [**1/2]; Lance Archer VS Wardlow: The match wasn't very good, Archer just fell like that amazing monster at the suicide dive from the beggining, rest of the match was really flat. I don't remember the last time he won a match, so he doesn't represent that invencibility he used to be. The match really helps to elevate Wardlow, and to make his clas with MJF pretty more interesting. Adequate match. [**1/4]; The problem with this feud is LAX, I really don't get into their promos. Now, Jericho is starting to work something with these future stars, so let's how this experiment works out; Serena Deeb VS Hikaru Shida: Started really botched, maybe 'cause the intensity they wanted to share, and then worked reallly well with the stipulation. Sida hitting very hard, Deeb making the same with Shida's knee, and with a really nice ending. Really happy to watch how the women's division is improving. [***1/2]; Will Cass be able to clash with Wardlow? ; Now, Death Triangle VS House of Black, This is the clash I wanted to see for a long time, I'm really happy to see Fenix finally back; Darby VS Swerve could be a really interesting match, maybe I'll catch Rampage on friday; Ten Man Tag Team Match: I suppose this is their way to say that Adam Cole and the Undisputed are still at the top of AEW, no matter if they lose all of their matches. (? ) match was just adequate, multiple squach match. [**]; Sammy Guevara VS Scorpio Sky: It wasn't the main event I was hoping to watch, but I suppose AEW is copying some important elements of the Sports Entertainment formula from WWE, and they're trying to make it work in their weekly shows. This worked really well, but the wrestling itself didn't, still having the referee holding the stairs doesn't help the match, the interferences were right at some point, but lather became nonsense. I suppose they're trying to see if Scorpio can have a decent longtime run with this title. will see. As a all, it's just an adequate match. [**]; The show wasn't quite good as it looked with the main card, most of the matches weren't as good as expected, but I have to say that the show was good, there were good promos, good development of the rivalries, and advances for double or nothing. Team Eddie & JAS had an intense mic war that added more interest to their feud while Shida vs. Deeb had a definite & convincing conclusion. Shida might be gunning for the women's title next and I'm highly intrigued. Death Triangle's reunion had me hyped for their conclusion against House of Black. The Undisputed Elite had a decent squash extension that furthered their inner fracture and we can easily predict what's about to happen. The main event fell all over the place. The effort was seen to be a strong equalizer to Cody vs. Sammy months ago but the basics of selling a huge spot and executing an even bigger spot wasn't done well by Sammy. Scorpio's efforts are highly appreciable and his win here means a lot. Hope the hot potato of the title stops here and Scorpio is meant for a respectable run. In overall, this episode had a really strong start with a string of great matches and segments until the co-main event & the main event but those two were easily outweighed by the others and the build to Rampage and next week's Dynamite. |

Serena Deeb came out the winner and can now offer herself as a contender for the title. Wardlow is a big fan favorite, I think his match with MJF will arouse great interest. The Owen Hart Foundation is filling up with more and more stellar participants, it's interesting! Future announcements tear my head off, every week something interesting, it's very cool! I like the story around the gang of Jericho and friends of Eddie Kingston, the passions were dispersed to the fullest, I wonder what type of match they can be given, I hope the original type of fight. TNT title is on the hands, when they calm down, it's time for them to teach a lesson to someone, maybe Miro will come back for this. I managed to drink tea and eat a burger during the show and I was pleased to see wrestling! |

The opener qualifier for the Owen Cup was a really good clash as expected, Punk's promo calling out Page was really good. The Blackpool six man tag was a fun exhibition. Wardlow/Archer was a super fun hoss fight with Wardlow showing a lot of agility. Deeb/Shida was awesome as all their matches. The Ten Man Tag was fine for what it was. The Jericho Kingston segments weren't must watch but they were solid. Main Event while not as good as Sammys ladder match with Cody still was pretty good. Hyped for some of the things set up for future shows (Morrisey showing up, Darby Vs Swerve and Sky Vs Kaz) |

Warum allerdings die Tag Team Partner gegeneinander gestellt wurden ist schon sehr seltsam und sieht man so auch nicht alle Tage. Der Push von Yuta ist für meinen Geschmack etwas zu viel des Guten. Das Match selbst war belanglos. Wardlow vs. Archer, ich mag keinen von beiden. Fairerweise muss man aber sagen das war eines der besseren Matches von Wardlow. Storyline mäßig in Ordnung, rein wrestlerisch ebenso belanglos. Das Selling beider Damen im Street Fight war grausam und einfach nur schlecht. Da kommt einfach nichts rüber und der Matchablauf war schrecklich. Was der Co-Mainer hätte werden sollen kann sich der Booker für dieses Match wahrscheinlich selbst nicht erklären. Unnötig, schrecklich und völlig sinnlos, katastrophaler Matchverlauf. Dieser rote Faden zieht sich auch weiter bis in den Main Event, ebenso ganz schlechter Matchverlauf und im Selling nicht gut. Der TNT Titel hat für mich kaum noch Prestige. Der wechselt hin und her wie die Unterhosen. Fazit: Die Weeklys in den letzten Wochen haben sich auf ein überschaubares Niveau allmählich eingependelt. Storylines und Stable Fehden haben keinen großen Pep, dass wirkt alles recht Einfallslos derzeit. Einzige Highlight auf das man sich freuen kann ist Hangman vs. Punk. |
