[7.0] "Ordentliche Show der AEW Crew.
[8.0] "Was für eine wilde Show!
[8.0] "That episode was stacked. The card was a slobberknocker, except for Rosa vs. Shafir, sadly. KOR vs. Mox was a fucking great battle. Will Ospreay's apparence was also something to witness, didn't expect to see that english prick in AEW, lmao."
[5.0] "An okay episode. PAC/Matthews and KOR/Moxley were both good matches, but the battle royale sucked, the women's match was poor and Page/Finlay was just there. Eddie Kingston cut a backstage promo that I didn't like, his mic work of late hasn't been great. I did love Wardlow burying the mess Cody, Guevara and Scorpio Sky made of the TNT title. The Mark Sterling stuff was amusing and I do think the 20 vs 1 will be entertaining. The Bucks/Hardys/Jurassic Express segment was fine, but has since been rendered a waste of time given Jeff Hardy's real life antics. Of course, the highlight of the episode was the AEW debut of the best wrestler on the planet, Billy G.O.A.T himself, Will Ospreay and the mostly dead crowd actually came alive for his appearance."
[7.0] "Overall I enjoyed this show but also thought it was maybe lacking a bit of the usual AEW energy. All the matches were good in different ways. I do think the booking is a bit flat right now, Forbidden Door isn't doing much for me. Also too much push for KOR for my money, and I'm feeling blah about Ospreay being brought in."
[6.0] "I think this was a show saved by the main event. The opener was just your standard battle royale. Really nothing memorable or interesting there and it took up 25 minutes. Pac vs Matthews didn't click for me. I suspect Pac will win the new belt and then they'll announce AEW's first UK show. There was a lot of buttering up of UK fans and broadcasters throughout the match. I don't think that belt is needed. Page vs Finlay was fine but not much more. Rosa vs Shafir was bad and it seems strange that Shafir can only lose on TV and get title shots like they're nothing. This is where the idea of records and rankings needs work, because televised wins and losses are all that really matters. Tony is determined to fulfill his dreams of booking the early 2000s Hardy Boyz at the expense of Matt and Jeff's bodies. The main event was good but the entire set-up of this interim titile feels so predictable. Moxley vs Tanahashi was supposed to happen a while back so it makes sense they'd want that now and it's clearly the biggest match which can be made from the combination of guys competing. We all knew Moxley was winning against O'Reilly so it made the battle royale feel like an even bigger waste of time, and it's a safe bet that Tanahashi will beat Goto at Dominion. I still liked Moxley vs O'Reilly, though. Then you have Page calling out Okada (as IWGP champ) instead of the winner of Okada vs Jay White and you're left hoping that they haven't just spoiled maybe the one match Okada could even possibly lose this year. These hinted at and announced Forbidden Door matches aren't doing a whole lot for me at the moment, apart from maybe Moxley vs Tanahashi."
[8.0] "An eventful episode. Here we were announced the start of the tournament for the newest AEW All-Atlantic title and if this title has its own exclusive feature, then it will only benefit everyone. Will Ospreay and his Empire are here and this is also a shock moment that the audience could certainly respond louder, but I think they will still understand how cool this moment is. Adam Page and Adam Cole are arguing again and it's really interesting which one of them will get their chance, Okada and Jay White seem to have already decided for themselves on the outcome of the result of their match. Thunder Rosa is very good in places, and sometimes it just doesn't try, a paradox. Kyle O'Reilly is a workaholic of the whole episode, he shows himself great from start to finish, this is a really cool acquisition. Mox is also ablaze with energy and shows his most lively matches in his career. An episode that I can definitely praise for interesting moments and bright appearances. AEW vs NJPW are waiting very much!"
[7.0] "Kyle O'Reilly winning the opening battle royal is fine considering whoever Moxley faced he was gonna win anyways, even though this made it 100% predictable. Buddy/Pac was good and afterwards we got a solid backstage promo from Eddie Kingston. Page challenging Okada is cool but not one person needs to see him and Adam Cole have another match. Hopefully Wardlow takes the TNT title soon and saves it from whatever the hell is going on with it. The women's match just simply existed, not offensive but didn't really add anything to the show. The tag team title match next week is either gonna be really good or a disaster.Main event was great as expected. Overall a good show even with some faults"
[8.0] "Interim AEW World Title #2 Contendership Casino Battle Royale Match: Actually it was a pretty interesting Battle Royale. The continuity of the current rivalries was present every time, there were some interesting moves as always, and a winner I didn't expect too. Good and nice opening match. [****]; Really didn't understand the filler segment with the announcer man, I don't know what was happening behind the curtain; PAC VS Buddy Matthews: A very hard-hitting match, as expected. It's really nice that they''re giving the continuity to this rivalry. Nice match. [***1/2]; Eddie Kingston is slowly becoming in one of the best trash talkers at AEW. Will me nice to see him holding a title; That United Empire attack was great, really unexpected and shocking. Let's see what Forbideen Door brings to them; No comment about the Regal-O'Reilly segment; Adam Page VS David Finlay: Another entertaining match. Finlay it's a New Japan guy who has improved a lot since the last time I saw him. The chemistry with Hangman was not the best, but good enough to put a decent match. Nice bout. Pretty exciting to see him clashing with Okada. [***1/2]; Wardlow as face, great, Wardlow as TNT champion, surely great too. The problem here is continuing with these nonsense squach matches. I mean, we already understood he is unbeatable. let's put this guy in important rivalries; Ladder match next week, great great. I'm not sure if the Hardys are going to do a good work, but let's expect they do; Thunder Rosa VS Marina Shafir: Maybe this open challenge to any women on the roster could help this terrible reign. And I really think this is the way, giving her enough time to have decent matches, to show her capabilities, and to build her next rivalry. Marina Shafir was really botchy, but Rosa really helped her. Almost a satisfactory match, continue this way please. Make Toni Storm VS Thunder Rosa. [**1/2]; Maybe the boring segment of the event. Please do something with her; Jon Moxley VS Kyle O'Reilly: Another nice match for this event. This would be rated higher if Moxley's victory wasn't as obvious. The match was very savage, very Moxley stylish. Pretty entertaining. [***1/2]; The show was good enough to keep me entertained another week in a row. There were some low moments at the show, but even with that, I really liked this. Good event. [****]"
[5.0] "This show was kind of a microcosm of where AEW is in 2022. It had two top tier matches: PAC vs Buddy and Mox vs KOR, but it also featured a poorly booked women's match with zero build... rushed debuts from NJPW (in which some fans didn't realize that Ospreay was even the person being shown), Hangman getting interrupted by Cole (once again), a new belt named for The Atlantic, yet features a Japanese and Chinese flag (Pacific Ocean) and just a frantic mess of a battle royal. In addition to the new belt, they're continuing to show Adam Cole walking around with his Owen Tournament belt. So, we now see ROH belts, the AEW belts, AAA belts, and coming soon: The Atlantic belt. While the the ROH belts will be mostly gone once that promotion gets off the ground, do we really need to see ROH storylines on an already cramped show? Getting a bit concerned about the direction of this company. Some people can never see fault with what's being presented to them, but a promotion built on storytelling and wins/losses mattering seems to be going in a direction that totally ignores so much of that."
[8.0] "This was a great episode of Dynamite. I felt everything worked except for the Women's Title match between Thunder Rosa and Marina Shafir. The Battle Royale was fun, all the promos (except the Rosa-Shafir one) was good. Moxley v. O'Reilly and PAC v. Matthews were both great matches, and Will Ospreay, Aussie Open, and Aaron Henare making their appearance was something that I love as a die-hard NJPW fan. 8/10"
[8.0] "Good episode with some questionable pieces of booking. I? m not as hung up on the new title as some, but I hope they do as promised and bring some meaning back to the TNT and Women? s titles, the latter of which has been ice cold in its booking for almost a year."
[7.0] "Good episode with some major developments towards Forbidden Door (Will Ospreay, dear lord) and a couple of good to great matches. Friday's Rampage and next Wednesday look even more packed, but these two hours here were good television as well. Match of the night was the main event, in which KOR again showed that he can hang with anybody in the ring."
"Poorly booked show. Wrestling was good, it will be with their roster, but the logic of Hangman and Wardlow not being in the battle royal was WWE levels of insulting. And why is this other singles title created and why were they not involved in the battle royal for another title. Did Tony decided at 7:45 he wanted a new title or something? This is turning into late 90's WCW with each passing day."
[5.0] "Having the world title contender battle royal with so few top guys is a disaster of a decision. There's no reason for these guys not to be in it and it has created holes in every storyline going currently. Some real missteps from a booking perspective here. The woman's title match was honestly embarrassing and buries that title and division even more. Worst Dynamite in a very long time saved by the great main event."
[4.0] "Wardlow doesn't want the interim championship even though that would be the quickest way to Punk? There's this giant hullabaloo about how to get the new contender's for the men's title, but Marina Shafir can just walk up and get a women's title shot? ANOTHER new belt? THis was a bit of a mess IMO."
[5.0] "This whole show was really built around a heel overcoming the odds of a battle royal and losing to a babyface with a bye. Genuinely horrible booking. What was even attempting to be accomplished with this other than putting on another "dream match" that means nothing."
[8.0] "Once again AEW does a great job, at least it seems so to me, but they know how to entertain quite well in 2 hours and that's what I appreciate, that they give this product, that's why I give this rating."
[7.0] "Sure there were great matches in PAC/Matthews and Moxley/O'Reilly, but why the need to cram loads in to two hours? Barely any mention at all of there being a Hair vs. Hair Match next week. Also, the launch of a new title we didn't exactly need, I presume it's because the TNT Title lost prestige, heck Wardlow even said as much. Funny how it's called the All-Atlantic Title, yet the belt has the Chinese and Japanese flags on it. A random debut for Will Ospreay, Aussie Open and the United Empire lads in the middle of the show in a mid-card program, thought Ospreay would have had something bigger for Forbidden Door. Substandard title defense for Thunder Rosa, but a better one against Toni Storm got immediately teased. Looking forward to the ladder match next week."
[6.0] "A mostly good episode held back only by one really bad match and a few good-but-underwhelming matches. The Battle Royal was just a generic spotfest in amongst the usual tropes. A lot of talent was involved, but the match structure massively limited them. A few of the stand-outs like Fenix, Takeshita, Swerve, and Andrade still impressed. O'Reilly winning was a surprising but nice decision. ***. The company debuting another singles title is questionable. I can only hope it's booked well, even if I don't understand its existence to begin with. Pac vs Buddy was really good -- an impressive showing of agility, power, technique, fluidity, creativity, and aggression. Both were very good on offence as well as defence, and I enjoyed the story of how evenly matched they were, seen by their constant evasions and counters that led into some very fun big-move trades and high spots. ***1/2. Kingston gave a very good backstage promo calling out Garcia and 2point0 in his loveable trademark style. The confrontation between Beretta and FTR was great literally only because WILL OSPREAY interrupted while Aussie Open ran down to attack. Great angle. Page vs Finlay was alright. Finlay is mediocre, but he looked decent and hit a few good attacks. Having him dominate for so long was a bit ridiculous, but Page at least eventually impressed with some impactful attacks plus some passionate displays. Their exchanges were mostly pretty uninspired but still mostly executed with solid chemistry. ***. Page calling out Okada for Forbidden Door was cool, though Page doesn't excite me as an opponent for him. Cole then going after Page was dumb, considering Page already beat him convincingly twice, so their feud should be over for now. Wardlow gave a cool and endearing babyface promo announcing his plan to go after the TNT Title he was robbed of. That would be a very cool direction, especially if it saves us from the monotony of Sky and Sammy on top. The backstage segment with The Bucks, The Hardys, and Jurassic Express set up 3-way ladder match next week, which could be really generic or really good. They're sadly still dragging out the Christian vs JE story, it seems. Rosa vs Marina was pretty laughable. Just heaps of very amateurish, uncoordinated, and weak-looking interactions. Marina is simply far too unnatural and unskilled be on TV, but Rosa wasn't good here either, as each week she continues to expose just how truly sloppy and limited she is. *3/4. Just put the title on Toni already, please. Save us from anymore of these embarrassing matches. Moxley vs O'Reilly was overrated but pretty good. I appreciated how they're both fighters yet with vastly different styles and philosophies. Their many grappling and striking exchanges were all pretty good, even taking into account a few sloppy moments. They went into "epic-match bait" territory at the end but still managed to produce some enjoyably creative and physical exchanges and spots. ***1/4 - ***1/2"
[5.0] "Tony's booking as of recent is killing the joy of AEW shows for me. I was ready to quit watching after Battle Royal. It was long, missed top stars, didn't have anything eventful, had a lackluster finish. The new championship introduction is atrocious. The rest of the show was fine, but the mood has been already killed."
[7.0] "Good episode that laid the groundwork for the next month of AEW programming. A new title was introduced, Hangman Page (and Adam Cole) issued challenges for the IWGP Title, Wardlow staked his claim for the TNT Title but will have to deal with Mark Sterling and some disgruntled security goons first, a triple threat ladder match for the AEW Tag Titles was made for next week, and Will Ospreay showed up to continue the United Empire's beef with FTR and Roppongi Vice! Also featured two excellent wrestling matches with PAC vs Buddy Matthews / Jon Moxley vs Kyle O'Reilly. Do yourself a favor and skip Thunder Rosa vs Marina Shafir, though."
[6.0] "An interesting show from a very interesting company. All facets of AEW are not growing at the same level, and this episode was more indicative than ever of the company taking on more business than it can handle. I don't have any problems with it, but can totally see the perspective of those who can't process so many new things at once and at a modern fast pace. They are giving New Japan a hard push, but like MJF, some aew fans really don't pretend to care about it. And since the njpw guys are not going to be around next month, I can also see why AEW faithful might be disinterested during June. So many belts on screen, from the wrestlers' to the fan replicas, they can come across as meaningless if not represented respectfully ("All-Atlantic"...WTF? ). And Thunder Rosa needs to turn BAAADLY, as someone so obsessed with demanding respect; otherwise, it's just another uninteresting title match for her."
[5.0] "A subpar Dynamite with a battle royal and battle royals always suck and a very bad womens match. Mox vs o'reilly was okay, I guess they worked a pretty good match but I couldn't give a ratsass about anything O'Reilly does. Page vs Finlay was meh. PAC vs Matthews was something I was expecting a lot more but I fully understand them not wanting to go 100% on a middle of a card tv-match. It was okay. There wasn't any good backstage segments either."
[4.0] "Man, AEW's roster is in shambles right now. Danielson, CM Punk, and MJF are either injured or halfway out the door, Jericho was nowhere to be found, and the women's division has been bad forever but it's in a truly awful state now. The battle royal was terrible. Chalk full of complete jobbers and the ones who weren't still had absolutely no chance of beating Moxley later in the night. Andrade's "return" was wasted to put over one of the most boring wrestlers on the roster in Wheeler Yuta. Kyle O'Reilly is a great wrestler but he has shown absolutely no character in AEW and it's noticeably impacting his crowd reactions. This whole world title situation was terribly handled. Buddy Matthews and Pac had a fun match. The Atlantic title is a terrible idea and only figures to push the women's division off TV more than they already have. Trent's segment was just a lame excuse to debut Will Ospreay in AEW, complete with piped in "holy shit" chants. I've already talked my disdain for him so I will not repeat myself, but needless to say I sincerely hope this is a one off. Page and Finlay had a match. Finlay got absolute crickets for his entrance. Nobody knows who these New Japan guys are so I don't understand why they are on TV over the already loaded roster AEW already has. Women's title match was bad. Thunder Rosa has had an awful reign (not her fault), and I can totally see Tony backtracking and putting the belt back on Baker. Wardlow deserves better than to feud with Mark Sterling. The main event was a good match but it was so predictable that I couldn't get invested at all. The battle royal was a waste of time and frankly, this match should have just been for the Interim title. AEW's lack of star power right now is staggering, and it figures that viewership and general quality of the product will be down this summer, especially with an ice cold forbidden door show being at the forefront of programming. Also please stop trying to kill Jeff Hardy."
"I thought it was a very good Dynamite, following up on a great show last week. PAC vs Buddy was tremendous, I was looking forward to it and I felt they delivered. I also loved the Moxley vs. Kyle O? Reilly main event, this was my favorite Moxley match since the Yuta match in the main event of Rampage in April. I? m excited for Forbidden Door."
[4.0] "You know when you miss your exit on the highway and have to drive another mile, get off, turn around, get back on, and drive back to the exit? That was this episode of Dynamite: a mostly dull course-correct after the injury to CM Punk. The battle royal was a complete waste of time and had a frustrating lack of star power that gave it seemingly no stakes. There was a baffling announcement of a pointless new belt that, to me, only served to undercut Pac/Matthews by turning it into a bullshit qualifier. And then there were some decent singles matches hurt by the fact that they received zero build. Ospreay being there was kind of neat, but this was a very boring episode. Hopefully they're back on track next week."
[7.0] "Mostly good action, cool tournament and belt reveal, pretty dumb booking. O'Reilly winning the battle royal felt like a huge mistake considering no one would buy him beating Mox and main eventing Forbidden Door. Kingston, Andrade, Allin all would've been better picks just for dramatic effect, but Mox vs. O'Reilly later humped so it's hard to be too mad about it. About as good as a match with no story and a forgone conclusion can be. Pumped for the new belt and the fact it's gonna be decided in a 4-way at FD with all international talent. Belt's beautiful. PAC vs. Buddy was real solid and PAC moves on. Malakai and Miro make sense for other spots and it'll be interesting to see who from NJPW is in it. Ospreay showed up. It was kinda neat, not clear what he's gonna do yet though. Page vs. Finlay was fine. Finlay is fine. Eh. Page calls out Okada, Cole won't let his boyfriend move on with his life even though Page has dumped him twice already. Eh. Rosa vs. Shafir was interesting and might've been good if Shafir was good but she is not. Eh. Storm comes out for a post-match save and teases challenging Rosa. Finally the women's division is gonna get some good fucking food. Wardlow's gonna beat up a bunch of security guards next week. Jeff Hardy is going to die next week. This show was a big ol' crammed sloppy chaotic blur, but even though AEW feels like a mess at the moment, it's a fun mess, for the most part. BUT IT SHOULD'VE BEEN THE MAD KING TONY YOU FUCKING BITCH."

I loved the show. I really enjoyed the wrestling and the commentary was on point. AEW has some huge talent and I think they have a lot of potential. I'm looking forward to the next show."
