Stokely Hathaway will ihn wohl rekrutieren.

Page had a decent promo but we all know it's not gonna amount in anything and it was the same "I'm frustrated in AEW" promo we've seen many times in AEW before. The only match I enjoyed and was invested in was the Acclaimed vs Gunn Club match. Please Khan, stop putting Garcia, 2.0 and Yuta on TV, I can't take it anymore. |

Sehr schönes erstes "Dumpster Match" in der All Elite Wrestling Geschichte (***3/4). Match of the Night war das Women's Tag Team Match. Definitiv zu empfehlen diese Episode. |

26 | 17.08.2022 | yngzax | 6.0 | Good episode of Dynamite even if it's not as good as last week. I really liked the women's tag team match and the main event, the rest is passable at most. There is a real lack of suspense in each of the fights so a little less investment in the show. The betrayal angle with the Undisputed Elite was too well done with Hangman Page's incredible save. Ricky Starks is a fucking star and it's too good to see! Anna Jay is getting more and more annoying and her heel character doesn't work at all. |

34 | 11.08.2022 | CaryBWeary | | [8.0] Ok first review. Lethal/Cassidy 3.5? I thought they did a really good job with the leg work and it felt like a match that either one could have won. Fun stuff. The Elite stuff was ok but felt more like just what was necessary than a really enjoyable segment. It was cool to see Hangman kind of interact with the Bucks again after all they've been through though. 2.5? for that segment. Love that Jungle Boy try to run over Christian Cage. Wild. And then a few days later on Raw there was a car wreck in the back. Coincidence? U decide. Women's Tag what's the best match of the show for me. Really clicked and had a fun phonetic energy. 4? Matt Hardy versus Christian was exactly the kind of match you would expect them to have in 2009 Smackdown probably even Main Event 2009 Smackdown. 3? I think they probably should have did a tablespot if they do there was another match that was going to do one just a few segments later. Miro promo was ok. Felt a little off I don't know what woman he's referring to. Darby I didn't necessarily like him talking about how he brought Brody King into All Elite Wrestling because that takes away some of the mystique of the House of Black in my opinion. 2? for Miro and 1? for Darby. Acclaimed/Ass Boys was a fun match. 3.8? I love the elbow drop through a table spot and the opening rap was brilliance. Main event Jericho/Yuta this was a pretty good back and forth match between veteran and youngster. 3.3 ? I think they told a good story and I like the lion tamer at the end. Forgot to mention the PowerHouse Hobbs squash which I'll give 1? but it did what it exactly needed to Overall a pretty solid show that didn't really shine too much but didn't feel like a let down at all |

40 | 09.08.2022 | samirandres1428 | 7.0 | Jay Lethal VS Orange Cassidy: Really nice opening match for the show. I didn't expect this, but in fact the chemistry in-between the wrestlers and the nice conducted spots were the strong ingredient of this. Nice to see Lethal gaining some recognition again. Good match. [****1/4]; I really loved this piece of promo with the Undisputed Elite and Hangman, now this man is slowly turning in favor of the Young Bucks, getting back this great Tag Team Stable; One of the best decision since Punk got that injury, it's having this man as the champ; The rivalry between Cage and Jungleboy every day gets more intense, great things from this rivalry will be coming; Dr. Britt Baker DMD & Jamie Hayter VS ThunderStorm: I will rate this match as an adequate, just because most part of it just was a botchfest for both tag teams. The final minutes were intense, but sadly the first half just got me worried and sad. Adequate fight. [**]; Sammy heel is the best Sammy, and with this rivalry with Kingston could help him to try again to have a stronger character; Powerhouse Hobbs VS Ren Jones: Hobbs has a lot of tools and potential to become a huge wrestler on the roster. The match was just a squach, nothing to say about it. Maybe it will be a match at All Out with some special stipulation with Starkz, will see. [**]; Miro inside the House of Black, great stuff; The hype that these two guys have created arounf the coffin match it's great, I'm really expecting to see a very good battle; Matt Hardy VS Christian Cage: This match at the end reached to be a satisfactory one, being one of the lowers expectances on the list of today's show. Cage has still some tools to make a match look important, but it's better that Hardy just plays a backsatage role, he's not what he was in the past. Satisfactory match. [***]; Meh, regular promo from Daniel Garcia, His body language needs to be improved; In the other way, Ethan Page promo made a lot of sense, working aroung his despite character on AEW; Finally, the Jericho Appreciation Society it's getting bigger and bigger, may be that the inclusion of women on this factions help them to be more solid; Dumpster Tag Team Match: Entertaining match, it was like a PG coffin match. There was just the things you should expect, weapons, some tables, nice spots, and the Acclaimed finally getting the victory. Even that, it was just a Satisfactory match. [***]; Chris Jericho VS Wheeler Yuta: Well conducted match to end the show. The first half looked much like they weren't on the same page, but then with a lot of Yuta's effort, the match improved a lot and made a significant match for both. It wasn't too good, but at least it was pretty entertaining. [***1/2]; A show that was worse than the usual AEW Dynamite content, but that doesn't mean that it was bad. It had a pretty entertaining opening match, cool promos during all the show, and somo advances in the different storylines. For me, a satisfactory show. [***1/2] |
41 | 09.08.2022 | BH62 | 8.0 | Surely a pretty strong episode of Dynamite. The card was solid as hell whereas this had some pretty interesting storylines going on. Some fresh air in AEW was needed. That segment with Undisputed Elite was gold. |

54 | 06.08.2022 | PavelDragunov | 7.0 | A labor show with all possible advantages. The confrontation between Christian and Jungle Boy is gaining more and more momentum and I'm sure the exhaust will be huge. The women's match was cool and the whole story around the title seems interesting. TNT belt is gaining relevance again. Ethan Page will hopefully start getting chances again. The undisputed Elite broke up and it was predictable, that's what intrigues, so this is who will eventually become a partner of the Young Bucks. Darby read out a great promo and I hope his invincible streak will continue and he will take off into the main events for important belts. Acclaimed & Gunn Club is the future of the team division if they work so hard. Ricky Starks probably in the image of a kind guy who overcomes humiliation, will obviously be able to gain more fans. The BCC/JAS confrontation still suits me completely. As a result, a smooth show that I definitely liked. |
55 | 06.08.2022 | sixcrowstimebomb | 9.0 | This felt like one of the early episode of Dynamite in every way. Stronger focus on the women's division, and more fun angles and much better paced than a usual modern Dynamite even if there were no blow away matches. |

65 | 05.08.2022 | Prince Osborne | 7.0 | The opener was a great match that had a mix of solid action and comical elements. Lethal winning made sense as he's poised for a TNT title match this Saturday. Undisputed Elite officially broke up and it gives an interesting story to catch up on where The Young Bucks will land. The women were upgraded to the upper layer and they rocked hard. All women were exceptional in the ring showing a stiff display of action with a surprising finish. Hobbs has become more vicious and his imminent showdown against Starks is ought to be amazing. Matt & Christian had a solid but forgettable bout since Matt is extremely worn out while Christian is becoming more furious as a bastard heel. The dumpster tag was an entertaining affair of ending the short yet fun saga between Acclaimed & Gunn Club. The main event was another window of opportunity for Yuta to sprout his talent and cement his stance as one of AEW's brighter young blooded warriors while Jericho took a lot from him & replied with his seasoned style. The result was obvious but it didn't take anything away from the match quality. This episode was a cooldown from last few weeks and next week's special where the stories found a concrete layer to stay still and the matches ranged from good to great. 7.5 out of 10 points! |
66 | 05.08.2022 | raininglightning | 6.0 | The matches were okay (nothing spectacular, with the women's match the standout) but, aside from the Undisputed Elite angle, I was left disappointed by the storytelling on this show - which was the great strength last week. Coming into this week, I was most looking forward to the follow-up with Powerhouse Hobbs and Ricky Starks, as well as something different in the Jungle Boy/Christian feud. Instead, Starks/Hobbs were given less than 5 minutes of TV time (though I did like the new presentation for Hobbs) and we got no explanation or meaningful follow-up from last week's shocking betrayal - beyond Taz telling us on commentary that Team Taz was over. No promo from Hobbs. No promo from Ricky. Christian and Jungle Boy had virtually the same segment as two weeks ago, except this time it was proceeded by a Matt Hardy vs Christian match (instead of the Luchasauraus/Christian vs The Varsity Blondes match). After Christian's chilling warning last week, I thought things would take a turn in a different direction - instead things stayed virtually the same (except now Jungle Boy has a "Christian is a pussy" t-shirt). Also I'd prefer to not see Matt Hardy wrestling a singles match in 2022. You have a roster bursting with talent - using Matt Hardy in this role is tired. Like I said, the Elite angle was great and very effective. I'm sure next week we'll get substantial follow-up on that angle, as opposed to the 30 seconds Ricky Starks was given this week. Again, way to capitilize strongly on the most talked about moment from last week's Dynamite! The Ethan Page promo was interesting and I like the idea of Stokely building a faction of disenfranchised wrestlers - though perhaps there are one too many people on AEW television loudly complaining about not getting enough TV time (an actual issue with AEW's bloated roster at the moment). Wheeler Yuta tapping out to Chris Jericho was a surprise and does add intrigue to the BCC/JAS storylines - though it is starting to feel like Chris Jericho is, once again, overwhelming the show. This Dynamite sadly didn't deliver on the highs of last week - next week seems more promising and I'm optomsitic we'll finally get payoff on a few of the stories that weren't paid off on this week (especially with BOTB III this weekend, meaning we should be fully on the road to All Out next week). |

72 | 05.08.2022 | norahdarp | 9.0 | I thought that was an excellent episode of AEW Dynamite. I felt that a lot of story was given to viewers to start the build for the upcoming Battle of the Belts and the All Out PPV. All the matches were very good, and the promo bits were really strong to. I'm excited that we are finally getting that "AEW vs. NXT" story with the Undisputed Elite breaking up. I think that sets the stage very well for a Kenny Omega return. The Young Bucks getting back with Hangman was a good call, and gives a possibly great match for the trios titles down the road. Team Taz breaking up was tough to see as I loved what they did, but I also think it was time to finish that as well and build the Powerhouse Hobbs v. Ricky Starks storyline. Lots of excellent stuff from this Dynamite, and the upcoming episodes of Rampage, BOTB III, and Dynamite look really stacked. 9/10 |
73 | 04.08.2022 | LivingLegend | 6.0 | Middle of the road episode for me. Dynamite typically has a standout match on every card but this one didn't. The opening match was merely average. The Undisputed Elite drama storyline has been tired for months and had absolutely zero build to this forced breakup angle. The Bucks are terrible babyfaces and even pairing them with Adam Page won't make me root for them. The women's tag match was good and my favourite match of the show. Tony finally listened and put the women somewhere besides the death slot, and wouldn't you know, the crowd actually cared! Hobbs squash was there. Christian and Matt Hardy had an average brawl. I liked how they sold the tension between them here, but Matt Hardy's wheels are starting to fall off. Ethan Page promo was fine I guess, but why are we already shoving him into another faction despite the fact his other one never actually had a falling out? Will Scorpio Sky even care? Will he even be on TV ever again after this? Will this new faction be a staple on TV or YouTube? The dumpster match was fine. Nothing special as a match but it was entertaining. Main event was average. There was no way in hell Yuta was winning this so his near falls had no suspense. Overall it was a fine show but it dragged hard around the Hardy/Cage match and never really picked up again. |

I feel like she hasn't been on TV in a while - No build for Battle of the Belts III //// Overall : Given that there was nothing big planned for this episode of Dynamite, I'd say it was very good. Just good wrestling, good promos, good angles, no big missteps or mistakes. |

85 | 04.08.2022 | WeHateOkada | 8.0 | A consistently strong episode, although it perhaps lacked a marquee match or stand-out moment to push it over the edge into true greatness. The first two matches of the night are both excellent, well-wrestled and well-booked. The segment that aired between them perhaps could have been a little better if it was less telegraphed, but it hit all its major story beats and it made a child cry, so that's mission firmly accomplished. The Hobbs-Stark segment was rushed, but they both came out of it looking good. Cage-Hardy definitely had its moments, but it perhaps went on a little long, especially for two older wrestlers who weren't showcasing anything spectacular or especially noteworthy. The dumpster match is a lot of fun - silly, undoubtedly, but it felt like a crowning moment for The Acclaimed, who were really funny and engaging, as always. The final match is also good - leaning into Jericho's technical ability is a smart move, and some of the submissions and reversals exchanged between him and Yuta were very interesting. The show peaked in the first hour, but this was really fun to watch throughout. |

The Hangman/Bucks reuinion was a nice moment (enhanced, in a horrible way, by the kid in the crowd crying at the UE turn), but it did feel like they skipped a few story beats to get there; the injuries to Cole and O'Reilly clearly impacted the planned story. Good show overall. |
