Cole Karter im Interview interessiert wenig, auch die hinzukommende Factory nicht wirklich. Britt Bakers Backstage Promo in Richtung Rosa war ganz nett und danach gibt es ein In-Ring Interview mit Claudio, Yuta kommt dazu und Jericho unterbricht. Das war ein sehr unterhaltsames Segment. Das Acclaimed Musikvideo in Richtung Gunn Club war ganz nett und stellenweise witzig. Nach dem obligatorischen Pre-Match Interview geht es zum Main Event. Anna Jay vs. Ruby Soho war insgesamt ziemlich solide und einer der anständigeren Matches von Anna in letzter Zeit, wohl auch wegen ihrer Gegnerin, auch wenn's holprig los ging. Insgesamt war das eine ordentliche schon ohne Lowlights, aber auch keinem wirklichen Highlight, am ehesten noch das Segment mit Claudio, Yuta und Jericho. Hat man eine Stunde Zeit, kann man sich das gut anschauen, wenn nicht kann man's auch lassen. |

Netter Opener zwischen den Best Friends und Lethals Truppe. Dutt hat sich ja in Rage da reingeguatscht. Ich fand das Match erstaunlich gut gebookt. Lethal macht die Hauptarbeit für sein Team. Singh kommt rein und haut alles um und Dutt kriegt aufs Maul. So muss man das machen. Der Sieg der Best Friends natürlich logisch im Anblick des bevorstehenden Turniers. Runde Sache. Page gegen Ruffin war leider ein wenig kurz. Ruffin ist aber ein Guter. Ich denke mal das er auf der Beobachtungsliste von AEW steht so wie er eingesetzt wird. Mein MOTN ist dann Moriarty gegen Sydal. Das war ein gutes Match auch wenn beide Männer noch mehr zeigen könnten. Für das was es hier sein sollte war es aber ok. Der Main Event gehört den Frauen. Jay gegen Soho war vollkommen in Ordnung und ein ordentlicher Abschluß der Show. Nettes Match hier. Soho mit der NIederlage war ein wenig überraschend aber ok. |

Ethan is relevant again and I hope he gets prominent chances to shine. Stokely had a field day teasing a recruit in Ethan and recruiting Moriarty to his ranks after a superb sprint of technical savagery. BCC almost began to celebrate until Jericho interfered, spoiling things with the mic and letting his World Title shot be under jeopardy by challenging Yuta. The Acclaimed premiered a fun rap video ditching Gunn Club in an entertaining way while Anna outlasted Soho in a very good clash that garnered high response for the new heel in Anna. This is another solid rush hour in the ranks presenting good amount of wrestling & furthering the stories in a commendable way. 7.5 out of 10 points! |

This episode was a good example of that. The 6 person tag team match was decent enough. I was most excited to see Sunjay Dutt return to the ring, His wrestling mostly happened during a picture and picture commercial break. But hey after 5 years he wrestled again and for AEW so that's cool. Leon Ruffin vs Ethan Page was a squash win for Ethan. I wish they had let Leon Ruffin get more offense in but whatever. Lee Moriaty vs Matt Sydal was decent enough.I liked the Acclaimed music video. The Smoking Guns refrence was shocking but also a cool early to mid 90s WWF reference. AEW is doing a dumpster match, I actually applaud them as I enjoy weird match stipulations like that. Ruby Soho vs Anna Jay was the match of the night for me. I'm glad to see Women in the main event and the match was good. I would have preferred Ruby Soho to win but Anna Jay winning is fine too. Overall a fun hour long show that was better than I expected. |

The Jericho-Yuta promo battle wasn't great - it got its point across, but Yuta isn't much of a promo and Jericho was too on-the-nose about getting the crowd chants going. The Acclaimed's music video didn't really heat up until the end - Max got some good shots in, but it was a bit repetitive for such a short clip and probably needed more some more pointed barbs earlier on. Moriarty-Sydal was a pretty good match until the Stokely Hathaway interference - I love the guy, but this didn't garner heat so much as dampen the fun of what was already happening. Jay-Soho was match of the night - not always the cleanest athletic performance but the storytelling and character work was really good throughout, and there were some well-thought-out counters. This was a screwy finished that actually enhanced the moment too. Nothing fantastic, but really made the most of their minutes. |
