[6.0] "Wir sind direkt vor DON in Las Vegas. Collision setzt nochmal ein paar Zeichen für den PPV ohne dabei aber in die vollen zu gehen. Das Trios Match zu Beginn fand ich gut und mit der Überraschung Tanahashi hat man doch noch mal ein Zeichen gesetzt. Das Match war dann auch ganz anständig ohne aber brilliant zu werden. Ich fühlte mich aber gut unterhalten. Die Luchas wischen mit den Gunns dann den Boden auf. Der Unterschied ist immer noch krass auch wenn die Gunns wirklich dazu gelernt haben. Das hier war aber ne Nummer zu groß. O'Reilly holt sich noch einen schnellen Sieg gegen KM. Das war wirklich schnell und beeindruckend. Mein MOTN war das Four Way Tag Match. Das hat mir gefallen. Gute Action, viel Chaos und ein paar gute Spots. Dazu noch die richtigen Sieger. Das passte schon alles. May gegen Hirsch war in Ordnung aber mehr leider auch nicht. Sieg für May geht natürlich klar. Der Main Event war dann nochmal ein ganz interessantes Trios Match. Die Kombinationen gegeneinander sieht man ja auch nicht immer und daher fühlte es sich schon ein wenig besonders an und war dann im Ring auch ganz gut. Insgesamt eine solide Show vor dem PPV."

[8.0] "Enjoyable episode of Collision. Liked the opener with my guy Lance Archer in action, and enjoyed the Lucha Brothers mix it up with the Gunns. Awesome Four-Way Match and an excellent main event. Although favorite match of the night was Mariah May chalking up a win."

[5.0] "This managed to be what AEW should never be: boring. Nothing that happened here really mattered, and most of the matches didn't even manage to be fun. Claudio Castagnoli, Daniel Garcia, and Hiroshi Tanahashi vs. the Righteous and Lance Archer was one of the better matches of the night, managing to be enjoyable despite Tanahashi's knees attempting to ruin everything. The Lucha Bros vs. the Gunns was less exciting than I had hoped. Hopefully, the put on a better show at Double or Nothing. Kyle O'Reilly squashed KM to get his momentum back. the four-way between the House of Black, the Acclaimed, the Infantry and Gates of Agony lowered itself to the Infantry's level, rather than elevating them. Layla Hirsch finally started to look like her old self in a loss to Mariah May. Finally, Bryan Danielson and FTR took on Jay Lethal, Jeff Jarrett, and Satnam Singh in the match of the night."

[5.0] "The story progression for this episode was really well done and we had some game-changing segments for some feuds but good lord this match card was underwhelming. Mediocre match after mediocre match after mediocre match. Their has to be something noteworthy! Let's talk about the segments. The opening with Takeshita injuring Moxley was good and really set up a win for Takeshita, oh wait he lost! WHAT THE HELL? Willow's promo against Mercedes was damn good and Copeland's promos always hit. 5.5/10"

[5.0] "This show was very mediocre as a go home show to the PPV. None of the matches left the 6 range to me, but, likewise, none fell below the 5 range for me. Overall, a very consistently mediocre show. [MOTN: The Gunns vs. The Lucha Brothers]"

[8.0] "Pretty good go-home show for Double or Nothing, the matches themselves were nothing special, but still fun. Lots of great promos and video packages to tie in to the PPV coming up the next day."

[6.0] "[6.1] One of the go-home shows of all time. Not awful by any means, but not a single standout match on this show. Fun surprise with Tana appearing, but that's just about the biggest thing on the show."

[4.0] "Normalerweise gefällt mir Collision immer etwas besser als Dynamite, aber hier war die Show schon sehr off. Im Ring kann man die gesamte Ausgabe vergessen und das darf irgendwie nicht passieren. Hat da wieder arge Clip Show-Vibes, aber drumherum passieren dann noch ein paar gute Sachen. Ospreays Promo ist ok, Deeb und Storm machen das gut und Willow gibt sich noch ein paar last minute-Hoffnungsschimmer. AEWs bester Face derzeit. Die Lucha Bros sichern sich das Title Match, da gibt es immerhin noch etwas Relevanz, aber darüber hinaus sind die Ansetzungen absolut wild und beliebig. Die Show muss ja nicht in Gänze den kommenden Event aufbauen, daher kein überkritsicher Maßstab und noch knapp zu den 4P aufgerundet."

[6.0] "Well there was some good and some bad, was a decent show but the hype for DoN is still there, looking forward to Forbidden Door season as Tanahashi showed up, Copeland with a good promo, I really need to see more of the righteous"

[7.0] "For a two hour block of television, there are worse cards you can put on. As a go-home show 24 hours before a major PPV, youre not going to get the dazzling heights, but neither were there any deep depths in this show either. It was just solid, consistent - if pedestrian - wrestling."

[6.0] "Nach der starken go home Dynamite, bekommen wir hier eine sehr durchschnittliche go home Collision. Die Matches sind leider nicht wirklich der Rede wert allerdings gab es einige sehenswerte Segmente. Keine Show die man gesehen haben muss aber letztendlich eine befriedigende Ausgabe."

"Too many multi men matches for my taste. Loved the segments of Adam and Toni though, as well as the one of the Elite. Would be nice to see when the HoB and Copland can join forces afterwards, as the HoB doesn't have a charismatic individual. Willow did a great job either, and hopefully she will keep the title and they don't throw it that fast at Mercedes, or at all. This would keep the fire in this feud a little bit longer. @Lela if you want to win, you have to go more into the lower parts of the body, do you understand? Wish Trent will squeeze the last drop of juice out of Orange and Orange can be written off TV for good. Fingers crossed for having courageous results tonight."

[7.0] "Für mich war es eine gelungene und solide Go Home Show von Collision. Man überzeugte v.a. durch Promos, Segmente und Videos und weniger im Ring. Im Ring war es für mich das Tag Team Match der Lucha Brothers und auch der Main Event, der mir ganz solide gefiel. Abseits des Ringes war das Eröffnungssegment mit Moxley und Don Callis gut gemacht. Die Überraschung mit Tanahashi als Mystery Tag Team Partner im ersten Match hat bei mir auch vollends gezündet. V.a. da ich mit NJPW Stars erst in der nächsten Woche gerechnet hätte. Ansonsten stach hervor, dass man vielen Fehden nochmal den Abschluss vor dem PPV Match gab. Schön fand ich dabei z.B. das kurze Video mit Christian Cage und der Patriarchy aus Nick Wayne's zu Hause. Bzw. dem Ring, also jenen Ort, an dem Swerve ihn damals attackierte. Mir gefällt es, wie die Geister der Vergangenheit Swerve nach und nach einholen. Umso sinnvoller ist es gewesen, dieses Video in dieser Form zu bringen. Mir gefiel auch Willows Promo bzgl. des TBS Championship Matches. Das kurze EVP Video hat mir auch gefallen. Ich bin aber auch ein Fan von ihrem desillusionierten EVP Gimmick. Ansonsten setzte man noch ein Buy-In Match unter Beteiligung von The Acclaimed und den Gates of Agony fest. Billy und Cage nehmen auch daran teil. Zum Abschluss möchte ich auch noch Booking mit Bryan Keith positiv erwähnen. Nach seiner Niederlage fährt man fort und lässt ihn nicht fallen. Er stellt fest, dass er es trotzdem auf den Titel abgesehen hat und macht Jericho eine kurze Ansage. Das wird man in den nächsten Wochen bestimmt aufgreifen. Im Prinzip ist das nur eine Kleinigkeit, die ich aber positiv hervorheben möchte."

[5.0] "Sehr langweilige Show kurz vor dem PPV. Alle fehden sind bereits an dem Punkt wo sie sein müssen, für morgen, als gibt es hier nichts zu zeigen. Jarrett und seine Crew sind einfach unnötig."

[7.0] "Very solid traditional go home show, with one quite bad match dragging it down. Let's be up front, this show is more about promoting the PPV than trying to be the best show possible. There was a lot more time given to promos and video packages than usual, and several of them were quite good. Osprey, Willow, and Ton Storm had strong promos. The Young Bucks propaganda video was fantastic. Delusional narcissists with delusions of grandeur is the right direction for these characters, not wielding on-screen authority. The opener was fun, and luckily Tana did more dancing than wrestling. Lucha Bros Gunns was a fine TV match, as was Mariah May Hirsch. The 4-way was a train wreck. The Acclaimed are well past their sell by date, and actively bring down matches at this point. And the Infantry came back to TV, which is never OK. They are wretched, useless, clumsy, no talent hacks. Multiple times in this match they were out of position, and interrupted sequences. A 4-way tag match is inherently silly, and needs to be a spot-fest to be any good. You can't do that when half the teams have no good spots, and one of them can't even take moves properly. That leaves the main event, which was your traditional fun Collision tag, with a really good showing from team TNA. Nice to see them get a little 2 week arc after being off TV for a while. That's a good pattern for them."

[5.0] "Pretty meh episode of Collision with a lot of filler and quite skippable. Jon Moxley and Don Callis opened up the show with a promo: Callis asked Mox to join the Family but Moxley said he wanted to give Callis 24 more stitches in his head so Takeshita came out and attacked him. DG, Claudio and Tanahashi vs. Righteous and Archer was a fine opener. Tanahashi is washed but I'll never not pop for him when I see him. Lucha Bros vs. The Gunns was alright, cool to the Lucha Bros back in action as a duo. Willow Nightingale cut a pretty solid promo before her match against Mercedes at DoN. The four way tag was bad, I didn't like it at all. All over the place and badly put together. Fire post-match by Adam Copeland, though. Him teasing Buddy and Brody joining him was cool. May vs. Hirsch was fine. Mariah is awesome. FTR and Danielson vs. TEAM TNA was the best match of the night, pretty fun main event. Overall: skippable for the most part but nothing was truly bad outside of the four way. There were also a couple of fire backstage promos here and there like the Ospreay one or the Toni Storm one."
