While I understand that Solo uses the Samoan Spike as a tribute to his uncle Umaga, the move simply doesn't deliver the impact you'd expect from a main event-caliber finisher. That said, Nakamura's interference was perfectly timed and added some much-needed excitement."

[5.0] "The match wasn't bad, but this went far too long for what it was and it didn't offer anything to make it engaging for that long at all. It went from more to less, and that commercial break killed much of the momentum of the match. It ended up being pretty dull and boring despite the good bits offered mainly by Apollo, Andrade, Tama and Jacob. It would've been far better they kept this at 5-7 minutes and went straight to the point, which was giving Solo some momentum towards Tribal Combat. I don't understand Shinsuke Nakamura's interference here from a kayfabe standpoint. It makes me believe they're going to give Knight the title back after Nakamura is done against Ulka Sasaki in NOAH, and I can understand that, but it just doesn't make sense the champion that got to stand over Knight keeps pursuing him instead of being the other way around. Lazy and lame writing right there (** 3/4)"

I'm glad The Bloodline won, though, and without a Disqualification finish at that. They needed a win after losing at Survivor Series. While this isn't a huge one, it's still something."

In terms of action, Andrade and Apollo do the heavy lifting, while Knight's popularity keeps the tired crowd at least somewhat engaged. The Bloodline mostly colour inside the lines opposite them, with Fatu unsurprisingly leading the way. The result is a pretty cosy piece of television, neatly navigating the runtime. ***"

Solid technique by all six combatants in the ring. Some innovative offense by the Bloodline with the assisted Hot Shot by Fatu and Sokoa."

[4.0] "I suppose Solo Sikoa has to be kept strong before his Tribal Conflict match on Netflix against Roman Reigns, but after that, the focus should really be on Jacob Fatu. This went on far longer than it needed to, probably time killing on a taped show."
