[8.0] "A banger of a match that delivered heavy hits and intense energy. Both looked like real stars out there. Brody looked like an absolute monster out there. There were so many cool spots and I found myself constantly engaged in the match. Looks of great dives and bumps, and the audience was loving it. That said, I wasn't totally sold on the finish. Brody already looked really dominant, and all the involvement wasn't needed. Shame to also see him lose again. Still, the match was super entertaining overall, and both guys came out of it looking strong. Kyle is so young and has so much potential - I always forget he's in his mid 20's. Excited to see him get even better!"
[8.0] "This was awesome. Brody King has been getting some awesome showings on TV recently, and I am loving it. This had some great opening action with King just having fun tearing Fletcher apart around the ring. Those big chop bumps were great. There was some seriously gnarly bumps as we went, like great suicide dives for both men, that corner suplex, and the DVD on the apron. I loved how resilient King looked and he looked like one million bucks. The Davis interference was done really well and what a nasty finish. I want to see King hit that top rope apron DVD though..."
[9.0] "Great TV match here. Brody King is a beast and deserves all the spotlight he can get. I can't believe how much Fletcher has improved, he went from a must skip to a guy I really look forward to seeing, great heel antics here."
[8.0] "This was a very fun match. Brody King's singles run has been very much fun. Kyle Flecther, in my eyes, is the next man who should be the AEW TNT Chmapion as I think it's time for him to be champion in AEW. Brody King has been one of the most underrated wrestlers in wrestling today I really hope his fortunes turn and be a guy who gets the wins instead of being on his back helping the other person get elevated."
[8.0] "The Don Callis family needed some wins after their recent loss. The ending did a good job of evolving the Aussie Open's relationship. I got King's face during the match, appearing behind Fletcher. Don Callis always does a good job as a heel."
[7.0] "This match could have been a little shorter, two commercial breaks felt unnecessary for this match but it was still a good one. Fletcher might be on a holding pattern until one of the midcard titles are available (maybe the tnt title) but he's definitely on that trajectory. Brody is also an awesome wrestler and doesn't always get the credit he deserves. Good match."
[8.0] "This was such a fun match. Fletcher does a great job as a heel of making you want to see him get his ass beat, he's so smug and unlikeable (in a good way), and Brody King is the perfect person to give him the beating he deserves. Brody is quickly becoming one of my favorites to watch in AEW, he's so effortlessly awesome, and he had amazing chemistry with Fletcher in this match. Brody and Kyle are both people who I definitely think should pick up some kind of singles gold in AEW within the next year. (****)"
[7.0] "One hell of a match for television and my match of the night with a finish that felt extremely dangerous due to the physics at play. I always enjoy the established dynamic Brody brings to his matches of being the imposing hoss-bruiser, and paired with Kyle and his heel-ish ways, who used his athleticism to counter and dish out offense while adding some muscle of his own in the last third, made for some riveting action. ***3/4"
Echt stark!"
[7.0] "[7.0] Very good match between Kyle Fletcher and Brodie King. But why did this even happen? I get Buddy is injured but why isn't Julia present ringside? It's weird how Brodie is a face but Julia is a heel right now. Anyways the match was entertaining. Brodie goes overkill with chops but Kyle sells the hell outta them. This was so much better the no selling contest he had with Ospreay at Revolution. Kyle plays a perfect opportunistic heel. Mark Davis interferes and helps Kyle win with a brutal looking turnbuckle BRAINBUSTAAAH. Heels beat up Brodie but Hobbs make the save to a big pop."
[7.0] "Good match with a couple of fantastic spots that went too long and got a bit boring. Kyle fletcher was great at selling for Brodie, and there were some pretty great collaborative spots like the tombstone and the top rope brainbuster, and a strong ending. I also enjoyed the interference of Mark Davis, who unfortunately did not have a great night in the immediate aftermath."
"Time well spent on a Wednesday night: another absolute showcase for Kyle Fletcher, whose chemistry with Brody was off the charts. Think about the moves these two pulled off (cleanly and safely). Now, need to get Brody involved in a meaningful program, or at least back in the winning column for a bit. Fletcher's also ready for another big program. Kenny at DoN?"
[6.0] "Good match that got loads of time. The brawling was fun. Brody has big strikes and Fletcher bumps and sells it well. The big moves were excellent, like the dives and apron spot. But Fletcher missed the 10-count and made me look at Bryce Remsburg, big detractor."
[7.0] "[3.50/5.00]: An absolute banger from start to finish, brutal and physical, with Kyle getting that extra edge thanks to Davis and Callis at ringside. That brainbuster on the turnbuckle wasterrifying to watch, but Kyle makes it look as safe as a move like that can be. The result wasn't surprising, Kyle needed this win to bounce back after the Ospreay loss at Revolution, and it keeps him rolling with solid momentum."
[8.0] "Really good match and loved the dynamic these two had. Very hard hitting as expected and the brain buster on the turnbuckle never dissapoints, especially when a 300 pound beast is on the receiving end of it."
