[6.0] "Fletcher just really gets what being a heel is all about. He is not only imposing and mean, but he does the kind of scumbag things that really make people root for him to get his ass kicked. He also sells really well for Fox's brief comebacks, Fox does the same bumping around for him. The match doesn't elevate beyond serviceable, though. The lack of stakes doesn't help. And then, in the finishing stretch, there are a couple of spots that feel contrived and don't do any favors to the bout as a whole (such as Fletcher's last kicks or boots and Fox being able to throw Kyle in the air to hit a cutter, especially the last one, since the whole match Fox has been at a strength disadvantage and he doesn't sell the effort of throwing him into the air)."
[8.0] "Underrated match here. Granted, there was never a hope that AR Fox could win this, and I'm not opposed to having shorter matches to show dominance of bigger stars, but sometimes wrestling is fun for the sake of itself and I love watching AR Fox work. Could he get a little push, TK? Maybe a few wins on TV? At any rate, both guys looked really good and I enjoyed this."
[2.0] "AR Fox is 11-35 in AEW, with most of those wins coming early in his tenure. To me this is epitome of Tony Khan's booking for matches like this. Fox, Shane Taylor, Premier Athletes, etc. I have absolutely NO reason to invest in this match as a viewer, because AR Fox continually is booked to aimlessly lose with no angle or anything. Yet Tony books these matches for 9-10ish minutes, and I'm supposed to care? The match itself was not good and I really wish this booking style stops soon. It's so hard to invest in these shows with booking like this."

Fox finally mounted a series of moves that even had Callis on the broadcast spot asking what he just saw. Fox is a special talent; can't say enough how a cruiser or high-flyer division could easily thrive with dudes like him. I appreciate AEW mixes styles and sizes better than most companies, but wrestlers like Fox and Mortos getting squashed on the reg feels like a waste. Fletcher hit maybe the best looking Michinoku Driver I've ever seen. Great sequence to end it, probably one of the best under-10 minute matches you can put together."
[8.0] "I would have liked it to last longer but what the two showed was very good. Fletcher is at an incredible level and Fox always goes out to give his all in every match."
[6.0] "Good TV match with AR Fox putting up a solid challenge, but Kyle Fletcher had too much for him. It's now a case of figuring out what would be substantial for Fletcher, maybe challenging for the TNT Title?"
