[6.0] "As is tradition for the Nasties in WCW, this is far too long, but not without charm. The stylistic contrast is engaging and there's a genuine chaos to the presentation, with Eaton and Regal playing to the champs' strengths. Their heat features bursts of quality too, it's just stretched a little thin unfortunately. **3/4"

Regal and Knobbs have this great exchange of forearms and punches. The Blue Bloods gimmick made for some entertaining bits but Regal and Eaton still turned it up a few notches during the body of the match. Eaton's flying knee still looked incredible here."

William's bumps looked great and both heels worked really hard to make the babyfaces look good, but I can't take away from Knobbs and Sags that they were over as hell at the time."

Eaton ist als Workhorse über jeden Zweifel erhaben, während Regal hier mit seiner Mimik für den einen oder anderen Lacher sorgt. Somit kommt trotz der hüftsteifen Nasties eine noch akzeptable Partie in die Bücher."

This bout does make for a great clash of styles, and Lord Steven Regal is always amazing. Eaton is somewhat past his prime here, but is still better than 90% of wrestlers. The Nasties are their usual unpleasant selves, and even the Blue Bloods can't completely elevate them, but this is a fun brawl and the character work is top drawer. Regal's facial expressions alone a worth an extra point. Not a great match, but great (if childish) entertainment."
