[6.0] "Lots of starpower but there isn't a lot of great action, more just waiting for the next guy to come in and do his stuff. It's still a fun watch, even if some of the guys here are a little past their prime."
[5.0] "Ich bin nicht der größte Fan dieser Stipulation und aufgrund von manchen Beteiligten habe ich hier keine großen Erwartungen gehabt und das Match war auch nichts besonderes aber es war definitiv kein ununterhaltsame Brawl, der schon ein gewisses ECW Feeling versprüht hat, was in der damaligen Zeit sicherlich auch die Intention war. Ich fand das Match solide für das was es sein sollte und halte 5 Punkte für angemessen."
[7.0] "What the fuck that was crazier (and better) than I expected. Sabu was a madman in this, Diamond & Corino took a lot of the bumps and Steve Williams & Barry Windham were almost not completely immobile in this! Nah, I'm kidding, Williams, Windham & obviously Bill Alfonso were shit in this, really didn't do anything. The others tried their best though (yeah even Sandman was better than usual) and Terry Funk hitting Corino with the flaming branding iron and spitting fire in his face was a fantastic ending. ***1/2."
[6.0] "It was a good match. I didn't know MLW was already doing War Games in 2003, I knew they were doing it 3 years ago, but not in 2003. And I'm sure if they hadn't brought in hardcore wrestling legends, nobody would have cared about this match. But it was a good match in the end, especially the end where Terry Funk spits fire in the face of one of his opponents, that was cool. **3/4"
