It's more dull than it should have been considering how fired up and motivated these two seem. Don't get me wrong, it's a good match and I enjoyed it, but the whole match was a little disconnected to me."

Taue is such an amazing sympathetic underdog babyface here - it's unreal from a guy who specialises in being a mean, grumpy prick. Kawada out-Kobashis Kobashi with his death throes and the crowd reaction to the three count cements this as a stone cold classic *****"

[8.0] "Taue's murder arc of the 4 pillars in this tournament is a sight to behold. He refuses to lose this match and although Kawada tries to bully him back down, Taue keeps coming forward and often shrugging off Kawada's offence. Kawada tries to brutalise Taue with some nasty submissions and stretches but Taue's possessed in this. Structurally this is similar to Taue/Kobashi from earlier in the tournament but this has more intensity. The finish is similar too with the Nodowa Otoshi off the apron and Kawada fighting off for a few brief moments until the Dynamic Bomb ends it - ****"

[9.0] "Great match between the Holy Demon Army and former Foes. It told a very nice Story with callbacks to their previous bouts. The Moves were done crisply and the exchanges were really intense. The finish was done great with the chokeslam to the outside looking particular nasty and the awesome selling by Kawada putting it even more over. But i can't pull the the 10/10 rating. Maybe it was the bad audio quality but i didn't enjoyed the match as much as i should have. But i think if i rewatch it i could bump it up to a 10. But still a great Match everyone should watch. **** 1/2"

[10.0] "Despite being partners, when the time comes these two have absolutely no qualm getting nasty with each other. It's really incredible to watch the Pillars in their prime, they simply seem to have another gear that few other wrestlers have and everything they do looks devastating, particularly my favorite Pillar Kawada. Right from the start these two are laying into each other like old enemies, holding nothing back. Kawada, always the more physically vicious of the two, seems to have the match well in hand, beating Taue from end to end with many great attacks, including some chops which sound like a gun going off. But the tide turns when Taue catches Kawada on the apron and chokeslams him clean to the floor, a devastating bump that Kawada can't fully recover from. Though he hangs on and keeps the fight going, in this case Taue has turned the tables and unexpectedly gets the win over his more decorated partner. Beautiful match, my #15 of the year."

I really felt every Kawada's chop, they were very strong, but gradually the initiative passed into the hands of Taue and he took full advantage of it. I didn't expect Nodowa from the edge of the ring, much less for Kawada to start rolling away, it was awesome, and when Taue didn't make that mistake a second time, I knew I was watching a masterpiece. ****3/4"

[10.0] "This is a hidden classic that people very rarely talk about but really does need to be seen. The early to middle part of the match is Kawada being a bully just beating the hell out of Taue and putting on painful looking submissions and stretch holds with Taue making a come back here and there. It is really interesting see Taue play the babyface. Some of the chops from Kawada sound like gunshots. Near the end Taue is able to block a Kawada kick on the apron and slams him to the floor. From there it is only a matter of time before Taue wins as Kawada is wrecked but they tease it out perfectly as Kawada does just enough to keep from getting pinned before falling to a sit out powerbomb. Another great element is commentary is just Baba (I think) and one other guy just occasionally chipping in with their thoughts and really allowing the match to speak for it self. ****3/4"

[10.0] "The Holy Demon Army Explode! And that's the best way to describe this match; Explosive. These two go right out the gate and kick each other's ass, so many brutal variations of chokeslams from Taue, a weird torture move that could also be just a stretch they do in training from Kawada, a sick looking standing double arm wristlock that I don't think I've seen before this match. Brutal Lariats thrown by both men (Taue just striked with his more akin to Vader. ). Kawada takes over the early to middle stages beating Akira Taue like he owed him money. A ruckus crowd loses their mind after Taue hits the Dynamic Bomb, this match was classic, I loved every bit of it, these two are so good whether as a tag team or against each other."
