808.10.2022MaveDeltzer6.0Bit of a crap ending but this had a decent bit of brutality which I think is something which will benefit Bhupinder and this feud. He's been a bit "Happy to be here" plain babyface up until now. Having to bite down and dig deep does a lot for his character. One of those cases where an unintentional injury actually adds to the match, but there was some decent stuff with the planned spots, too.

1006.10.2022Prince Osborne8.0A chaotic match to close out the rivalry & open the show in style. Both men were going back and forth for a while and those tests benefitted here with the utmost expression of violent nature by them. The action was racking up high & higher breaking out of the box genuinely with sickening spots and ending with some smartness. Myers' run as the champion has been very good including this rivalry and I hope Gujjar improves more so that he could stand out as a prominent prospect of the game. 3.75 out of 5 stars!
1104.10.2022PavelDragunov8.0A very tough match. Probably the most brutal in the career of both. Bhupinder Gujjar honorably took a large head injury from the impact of the stairs and was not going to give up at all. The blood even came from behind his mouth, but the fighter fought like a lion and only a sneaky kick in the groin stopped him. Brian Myers was very cruel and really decided to prove his legitimacy to everyone. The war with ladders, no other way. Like!

1324.09.2022AfRotaker5.0This was a good ladder match, though nothing really special in my opinion, not knowing their storyline. 5/10 breads

1624.09.2022steviecw8.0The best match of Brian Myers and Bhupinder Gujjar's three match series by far and paid off the story of the previous two. I'd also say it's the best of Myers' title retentions in an Impact ring so far (his Create A Pro match with King of Cap and Dominican Destroyer Vargas was really great and the one with Frankie Kazarian has yet to air anywhere but apparently will according to the ill-reputed Colonial Wrestling Alliance). I think this was as close to a star making performance as Gujjar has had. Though he isn't super over I do think this presented him sympathetically as a fiery young babyface with a lot of heart who was willing to fight and bleed for gold. The crowd began coming alive for him towards the end which was testament to both men. Myers' worked a clever and dirty but not altogether cheap veteran move to get past his imposing but less experienced challenger (which essentially has been the story of the series). There were lots of good and believable ladder spots and Myers showed some surprising power and Gujjar showed some totally unsurprising power. A simpler moment but I loved the knee to face which counter Gujjar's spear. I hope this title run of Myers continues on as matches like these show there's untapped potential in this reign still. I'm not 100% sure where Gujjar goes from three consecutive tertiary title bout losses but I don't think he's worse off at all. Frankly he's probably better off in defeat than he would be had he won the title at this time which I think could have fallen flat longterm while he still gets established.

1924.09.2022CarlosRyder8.0What a good decision to give a match with this stipulation to a guy like Brian Myers who knows a lot about wrestling and sometimes he can prove it. Respect for Gujjar, who gave his all and proved to be up to the task to count on him in the future. The best fight of the Indian's career and next to the Cardona fights last year, the best of Brian Myers in IW.
2024.09.2022Belka 0177.0All in all, a good match. Not the best match of Brian Myers' career, but possibly the best match of Bhupinder Gujjar's career. ***1/2
2124.09.2022TeamCanadaTwoPointOh8.0This is when ladder matches work well. Try to make Gujjar look good, and he is, and Myers only enhanced that. Certainly the best I've seen of Gujjar.
2223.09.2022BUIOOMEGA8.0Wow, one of the best match of the Brian Myers singles career, a point more just only for this thing. Very good.
2323.09.2022BAILE38.0I am pleasantly surprised by this match. The other two matches were incredibly mediocre, but the ladder stipulation has brought something great outta these men and Gujjar has had one of the best matches of his career.
