[7.0] "Very solid match. I particularly like the spot when Davis cuts off Mark's plancha off the chair spot to instead hip toss him onto the chair."

[9.0] "This match was so cool. It? s awesome to see the way that Aussie Open telling a story changing and evolving across different opponents. The spot where Aussie Open flawlessly execute their opponents? s finishers is always so sick and I do like how they? re one upping a lot of their own spots over time. The Aussie Open power creep is a threat and they? re going to cement themselves as a top 5 tag team in the world. This match is another Aussie Open Test Kitchen match and they? re going crazy at all times"

[9.0] "I had no experience with Aussie Open before they started working the US companies and between here, Impact and AEW, this is my favorite Aussie Open match. Just fantastic. The Briscoes looked great as usual. Those guys do not seem to be slowing down at all and have had a great 2022 without spending one day in AEW or WWE."

Sure, Mark Davis throws a hell of a chop, but they have a lot of modern tag habits that just don't appeal to me. The Briscoes brought great energy at least and the venue was cool."

[9.0] "Two of the most fluid and continuous teams in pro wrestling just having a real fucking good tag team match. There wasn't much of a story besides the belts being on the line but you don't really need more than that sometimes when you have guys this good doing their thing. Pretty much everything you'd expect from an exhibition between these teams, but man that hip toss onto the chair was nasty in the best way. Really good closing stretch too that never went into overkill. Loved seeing some of Mark being a tough bastard in this, sometimes he takes a backseat to Jay. As pure of a modern tag match as you'll get without a good storyline and/or FTR. ****1/4"

[9.0] "This was an awesome tag team match between 2 of the best teams in the world. I hope we can see this ran back in AEW/ROH/NJPW because it'll almost certainly be even better. Considering this is HOG I'm pretty surprised it had a clean finish. ****1/4"

[7.0] "Yea it's pretty fun. I wouldn't put this up among either team's best matches, let alone either team's best matches of this calendar year. It felt that at one exact point in time, they just completely gave up trying to make tags and it became a tornado tag spontaneously, with the ref existing only to count the pin at the end. It's something that happens all the time in Aussie Open matches and I've never gotten over it. If you wanna look at an incredible tag match to take place in LA Boom, I'd recommend CCK Vs. LAX from 2018 over this any day."

[10.0] "Incredible match between The Briscoes and Aussie Open here which was simply a continuation of the incredible year that Aussie Open is having as the best team of 2022, but also a continuation of the legendary career of Jay & Mark Briscoe who are still here twenty years later offering us classics like this and they really age like wine. I miss them terribly on a weekly basis so I enjoyed every second of this match, I mean this DREAM MATCH which lived up to all its promises in the level of NJPW's recent Aussie Open vs FTR. I was expecting something fantastic here but I had my reservations as we know HOG very well with their very strange booking and not always on point production, but those were preconceptions that proved wrong as soon as I remembered who was in the ring. Thank god they gave them some time and during those almost twenty minutes we got to see tremendous tag team action, sequences, moves and nearfalls from everywhere with an excellent commentary and a crowd on fire. Give this match and House Of Glory a chance, this was one of the best tag team matches of the year."

[10.0] "Wow, 2 of the best tag teams in the world today went above & beyond and delivered a MOTYC, because who knows if this match will really be done again. (FTR, Young Bucks, Briscoes, Aussie Open, Motor City Machine Guns, Pretty Deadly, The Usos, The Astronauts, Strong BJ, & reDRagon, if reDRagon is still a thing. Those are my Top 10 Tag Teams in the world right now). This was an all out war that just needs to be seen. Rating for this match: ****3/4"
