I did miss her Weaponized Steel Cage Match with GiGi Dolin, so maybe I would have liked that one. Either way, I'm interested to see where Valkyria goes from here, especially after her mini-feud of sorts with Rhea Ripley. |

Jacy Jayne isn't as good a wrestler as Valkyria but she's decent and holds her own against Valkyria. It could have been better but it's still a good match. |

Lyra brought the best out of Jacy , and Lyra winning was the right call because now she can end this feud and go after Tiffany again. Lyra put on a banger against Rhea and now a good match against Jacy , Lyra is really talented and one of the best on nxt. |

The match felt sloppy with some moves both did, the only positive aspect is that you could feel the bitterness between both performers. This rivalry isn't the most interesting of all, so this match most likely ended it. (**3/4) |

She wasn't quite as over the top as she can sometimes be, but I still don't see anything there. Valkyria has the opposite issue in that she doesn't appear to show much personality at all. Still, there was nothing especially bad here and even if it was a bit sloppy at times I thought ultimately it was fine, just not very interesting or impressive. |
| 39 | 02.08.2023 | Ice | 5.0 | Lyra Valkyria tried to get the best match out of Jacy Jane as she could, but I like that she showed more aggression here with her kicks and Jacy Jane did hold her own more here. The storytelling in the match was a little limp (well a lot of storytelling in NXT is a bit limp) and it just felt like it was missing something and it did feel like it was in developmental, but hopefully Lyra can just have better matches to make up for her lack of mic work and find aggression more in her bird lady character. Just an ok tv opener, nothing super great. |
