The Rockers always shine against slightly chubby heels who can bump around and put them over, and Dennis and Randy were fantastic in that role. Every single shine sequence from Marty and Shawn was creative and full of energy, with plenty of well-planned spots - like Michaels lying down next to Condrey during the international or the Irish whip sequence. The pace was excellent, they kept the action moving at all times, and the crowd was fully invested, which is impressive for a 30-minute time limit contest."
[7.0] "Even though it is of course the Rockers who raise the level here, at the end of the day it always takes two teams to ensure that a thirty-minute match doesn't become boring. And that's the case here, because the pace remains easy to watch, it doesn't seem overly tough, but the esprit of the participants, above all Shawn Michaels, is maintained throughout. At the end, the play of time is very obvious, but in between the match also impresses with contemporary isolations. A very solid match and thoroughly entertaining."
[6.0] "There's lots of cutesy house show spots like Marty protecting Shawn in the corner from an Irish whip and they break out a rowboat near the end for some reason. The match does have decent pacing, for a 30 minute draw, but it never hits the higher gear that the Rockers are capable of."
