709.10.2022TSwifty4.0This was massively overrated like most BSS and Ringkampf matches. There was a lot of comedy from Moustache Mountain in the beginning. Thatcher mat wrestles with Seven and Bate for awhile. Ringkampf properly establishes control. WALTER smacks MM around for a little bit, Thatcher's control work was slow and not all memorable. MM took control with a low blow on Thatcher. I would've liked their work on top to be a bit tighter, as they were also very slow in control. There was a wasted opportunity for a hot tag to WALTER, it was an ice cold tag really. After that, the pace picks up rapidly. There was a long sequence of run-on exchanges and no selling. The power moves and strikes began connecting with more impact, but it was very robotic to me. Instead of organic progression it felt like they went from 30% to 100% way too fast. The chemistry between Bate and WALTER was decent, but their exchanges were just 'alright' and weren't given enough time to feel significant. The finish honestly made no sense to me. Unless I'm not familiar with the rules in PROGRESS, it looks to me like tags don't matter. Seven won the match with a flash pin on WALTER, but the referee was asking Bate if he wanted to quit (Thatcher had him in an armbar) just a second earlier. **1/4

1131.05.2020Dragon Fighter8.0A little too much comedy at the beginning for my taste, but overall this was a really good tag match. The British men definitely played heel here and it was good. The Ringkamf fellas were brutal as always when they were on offenses. Both teams knew how to build the match and the finish, in my opinion, was pretty smart, which emphasized the heel character played by Trent and Tyler. Really fun.

1608.03.2018seriousbusiness8.0Not as good as the main event from the New York show, but still a great contest that you would expect from these two expert tag teams. Really dug Thatcher early on grappling with both Trent and Tyler who could both hang unsurprisingly. When WALTER came in though is when shit really went down as he chopped the hell out of BSS and pummeled them with various suplexes and power slams. Of course it wouldn't be a PROGRESS tag team match without a crazy sequence towards the end. Also this match is one of the better times I have seen a roll up still leave me feeling satisfied as it made sense in the end. Unfortunately it was BSS who got the roll up to retain their belts, ****1/4.

2110.11.2017marexcel7.0RINGKAMPF gegen British Strong Style. Stil und Ethik gegen den easy way out. (***½)
2216.10.2017NastyYaffa10.0Amazing, just as I expected it to be. Started off with Thatcher & WALTER completely owning Bate & Seven - they got to do work over them for a pretty lengthy amount of time & it was amazing. Both of them are really great on the offense. It was only after Seven did a low blow on Thatcher that BSS got some real offense in - they did really good work over Thatcher and Thatcher, as usual, was excellent with his selling. I've said it before & I'll say it again - he might just be the best seller in the business right now. WALTER was an awesome hot tag as well. The finishing stretch was also really hot & a great way to cap off a classic tag match. ****1/2
