The story of the veterans having to prove that they're better than some youngsters. The story of Nakajima and Nomura fighting to see who is the best striker. My only downside is that I think some grappling would have been nice as an oppening sequence. It would have been perfect showcase of Nomura being a better technician than Nakajima... because we all know HE IS. But that's just me nickpicking. Speaking of picking, I'd call this the Tag Team Match of the Year 2018. I come back to it every year and the story never disappoints. |

You got two incredible strikers in Katsuhiko Nakajima and Takuya Nomura along with the raw explosive power of Masa Kitamiya and Hideyoshi Kamitani. Nakajima spent most of the match seemingly trying to tech Nomura lesson, kicking the hell out of him. Slapping him, toying with him etc. Nomura never let it slide though, laying into Nakajima with some hard strikes of his own. Even getting the better of him at times, catching a high head kick from Nakajima and almost tapping him with a nasty single leg Boston crab. Kitamiya and Kamitani were like two bulls, running into each other trying to beat the hell out of each other. So much beef. The finish, a staple in Nakajima matches as of late, was fantastic with Nakajima getting the KO win over a relentless Nomura with multiple superkicks to the head and a STIFF running soccer kick to the head of a grounded Nomura. Yet another fantastic match from the best tag team in the world, The Aggression. This is no doubt my second favourite tag team match of the year so far, only behind The Aggression vs Go-Kai from the 29/04 Show. ****1/2 |

Die Brutalität von Nakajima hatte im Jahr 2018 sowieso schon neue Dimensionen angenommen, aber in diesem Match ist er vollkommen verrückt geworden und hat Nomura wie ein Stück Schnitzel geklopft. Das war zwar vom Unterhaltungsfaktor großartig, aber wenn man sich anschaut wie Nomura da geblutet hat wundere ich mich schon, ob da nicht vielleicht aufgrund der Promotion-Rivalität noch ein bisschen was extra mit dazu kam. Mit den hohen Bewertungen kann ich nicht ganz mitziehen, da es mir dann doch einen Tick zu eintönig war mit den stiffen Schlagabtauschen, was aber natürlich Kritik auf hohem Niveau ist. **** (14) |

Nakajima soccer kicked Nomura in the head, just moments after he shoot forearmed him several times in the nose to bust his nose open. This should be discouraged in 2018. This should be phased out. We don't need to be stiff kicking people in the head. The rest of the match was very good, very very hard hitting. I just felt the end took away alot of my enjoyment. ***1/4. |
