Jungle Boy has never been a good character to me and I much prefer Luchasaurus with The Patriarchy than what he did in Jurassic Express. Overall I don't really care for this team, however I have to admit that they did put on some good matches."

[2.0] "These guys are the absolute worst. Quite possibly my least favorite tag team that's not named FTR. On one hand, you have a boring high-flyer in Jungle Boy who really isn't all that impressive, after a couple of matches, you'll notice how he just goes through the motions in his matches. There's nothing interesting about him. Then you have the male Nia Jax, where not much needs to be said about how much he sucks, just look up a botch compilation on YouTube and he's almost guaranteed to be in it. Two boring guys and you put them as the AEW Tag Team Champions when Private Party, Young Bucks, reDRagon, Team 2.0, and Reynolds & Silver are all much more qualified. I hope they break them up soon or at least take the titles off of them because they and their matches suck bad."

[6.0] "A good spotfest team but not much else. They have a fun "big man and little man" dynamic, but they basically always wrestle the exact same matches with the exact same exchanges and spots, making all their matches essentially interchangeable. Jungle Boy shows promise of maybe being able to become a decent upper-midcarder one day due to his impressive displays of athleticism and agility, but at the moment he is devoid of charisma and direction. Luchasaurus is even more guilty of being merely a spotfest worker and nothing else, since he always gets the same hot-tag sequences that he delivers with his usual slow and lumbering style and slight sloppiness. His insistence on using so many agile attacks makes Jungle Boy's own, far superior agile attacks feel less special, and it also just feels needless, as if he's mixing his big-man spots with these various flips and spins just for the sake of being 'unique' rather than because that's what naturally fits him. I can't imagine Luchasaurus having any real direction if not working alongside Jungle Boy, since he clearly can't work matches that don't allow him to work the hot-tag spotfest style, which is a shame because that also means that Jungle Boy is then held back from progressing in any meaningful way because he has to stay by Luchasaurus' side to keep him useful. It was really lucky for the team that Luchasaurus (admittedly through no major fault of his own) seriously injured Fenix in their Tag Titles match, forcing Jurassic Express to get the win and become the new tag champs. They've never once felt like genuinely engaging champs ever since then, though, and I think they've tragically held up AEW's division since then as well by just putting out the same repetitive and low-effort spotfests every time they perform, and going over far better teams in that process as well. There's also the fact that their tag-team gimmick is really, really dorky. How can I take their "dinosaur and caveman" characters seriously or find them at all exciting story-wise when we have way more serious, compelling, and realistic teams on the roster like FTR, ReDragon, and now Moxley & Danielson? Jurassic Express is a perfectly acceptable mid-card team, and that's all they should have remained, at least until they can develop their wrestling skills to the point that their performances become more creative and story-based."

Jungle Boy plays an excellent Ricky Morton and Luchasaurus cleaning house is alway fun to see. This is the version I'd like to see in AEW."

Their wrestling styles mesh nicely too, leading to some really fun tandem moves. This is a team that crowds really want to see succeed, and I hope they do."

[9.0] "I love this team a lot. For a new tag team they have very good chemistry and are extremely over as a team and as individuals. This team is one of the most over babyface tag teams in professional wrestling at this moment. Whenever Jungle Boy is getting beat up and makes a hot tag to the gigantic and athletic Luchasaurus the crowd goes crazy!"
