The main event served as more of an angle as Brock Lesnar and Kurt Angle run in to attack the Big Show for the happy ending with Zach Gowen getting his contract. The segments with Brock Lesnar and Kurt Angle are hilarious as it builds up to their friendly rivalry heading into Vengeance. The tag team title match is fantastic with Haas and Benjamin regaining their gold against Eddie and Tajiri which had a really sick bump for Tajiri landing on a car. The Eddie turn is shocking and he looks really intense when he slams Tajiri through the windshield, but I don't think the timing was right as Eddie was massively over with the fans at that point. Another good match was Rey Mysterio defending his Cruiserweight title against Nunzio. It's generally just a great wrestling show with most of the matches being really solid. |

Eddie's turn after the tag title match is fantastic. Lesnar/Angle segments on this show were really enjoyable. The main event was mainly smoke and mirrors but I thought it was pretty enjoyable for what it was. I thought this was a really good episode of Smackdown |
| 4 | 22.01.2022 | BLooD | 5.0 | Durchschnittliche Ausgabe von SmackDown. Der Opener war solide. Nunzio belohnt sich mit seinen Leistungen für ein Titelmatch. Die FBI wollte eingreifen doch die APA verscheucht sie. Ein wenig länger hätte es gehen können. Rhyno und Benoit vs Basham Brothers war schlecht. Das Rematch von Velocity was es nicht unbedingt gebraucht hätte. Viele Pin Unterbrechungen was ja ganz gut war doch auch hier war die Länge leider nur mäßig. Gunn vs Cena war schlecht. Gunn stößt ins Halbfinale hinzu durch Undertakers Ablenkung an Cena. Man weiß noch nicht mal wer gegen wen in der nächste Runde antritt. Eddie und Tajiri vs Haas und Shelton war in Ordnung. Somit hat das Random Team aus Tajiri und Eddie ein Ende. Nicht nur weil sie die Titel verloren hatten sondern weil Eddie Tajiri durch die Windschutzscheibe befördert. A-Train vs Orlando war schlecht. Ein zu langer Squash welches man hätte sich sparen können und einige Minuten dem Opener spendieren können. Vinces Ziel war es seit Monaten Mr. America als Hogan zu entpuppen und nach letzter Woche ist es auch passiert. Hogan ist nun endgültig gefeuert. Zusätzlich verkündet Vince den Main-Event für Vengeance wo Lesnar seinen Titel setzt gegen Angle und Big Show. Der Main-Event war in Ordnung. Eine der wenigen Ausnahmen die ich mache trotz einer miesen Länge. Dieses Match war nettes Entertainment. Während Gowen und Steph null Chancen hatten lebte das Match von Einmischungen durch Lesnar Angle und Vince. Außerdem sah man wie Gowen sein Handicap im Match bestreitet wofür man Respekt zollen muss. Nach dem Sieg verdient er sich einen Vertrag. |

The Tag Title match was top notch and the turn afterwards was shocking, I remembered it well after 15 years, even if the turn didn't really stick for the uber popular Eddie. Also really enjoyed the Cruiserweight tiel match, and to be honest I didn't think there was a bad match on the show, even the main event turned out to be a ludicrous but oddly fun cluster of crazy things happening with a surprising amount of internal logic. |
